While searching for a copy of Nodame -Paris Chapter-, I've recently found a good movie entitled "Brave Story". I've only watched the first part now but I'm already intrigued.

Ehh, the Tales of the Abyss anime's rather good as far as game adaptations go. I'm liking it more than I liked the Symphonia OVAs, and its pretty popular, at least with the LJ crowd.
I've barely played the game either; just a bit with friends, and I've seen tons of skits and cutscenes. Sucks it didn't get released over there... :\ I loved the Symphonia game too.

Good luck on reading Bokura Ga Ita. It's typical-ish at first but once you start to unfold Yano's story, it gets deep that you'd get engrossed.
On the side note, I didn't know you read shounen-ai o: *refers to Gakuen Heaven*
