Ah. But when what you like to see there develops into anger, I don't think you should continue. Not worth the effort I feel. I mean people there probably don't know Japanese so they can't read the original and tend to rely on whatever Tom/Dick/Harry's translations out there which may or may not be great/horrible, but after explaining once if they still wanna pull some straw man argument, I don't think it's worth the time to continue. You're wasting your time. Might as well use the free time to read more VNs and what not.

I actually like AstralAir no Shiroki Towa. I remember a friend told me that Favorite was coming out with a sequel for it and I didn't believe him cos there wasn't any info online but that came true. I'm still wondering where did he got the info one month before Favorite actually announced it. .___. As for me I like Yuuki(I'm no lolicon though, the girls I like happen to be a loli that's all!)

Yea quite the difference I guess, I don't think I can survive in 4ch for a minute lol.

Rather that not being able to write properly as a major factor, I just don't really like stuff that has nothing to do with the story/plot since I read VNs for story/plot, I prefer to have as many stuff related to it as possible. The only thing I can kind of accept is character personality cos personality have nothing to do with the story and they are pretty much another thing that make the VN nice to read. I like well written character interactions as much as well written stories but H scenes wise, I don't really like them. I'm probably kind of weird in this aspect I guess?

Yes it can but they are kind of difficult to learn D: but very rewarding once you understand them because of the flexibility it gives to the language.

YEA I KNOW RIGHT! Ughh those people........I mean if they were serious in learning the language I'd been fine with that too and even respect them but some people like those you describe just annoy the hell out of me since it make me feel they aren't respecting the language and kind of insulting the language and such. There was a recent news I heard from a friend saying that someone claimed that Japanese can be mastered in 2 months and I was so furious since that dude has no brains and is belittling the language. I just cannot stand these type of people. He even tried posting his Japanese but his Japanese is horrendous as hell and a lot of mistakes..........even something beginners can point out. Ugh

I don't know, I still don't like it when there's H scene that has no relevance to the story. If it's just to further the character's relationship, I can do without that. Most H scenes are boring anyways, like they're almost always the same.............very boring to read LOL

Ateji is a pain in the ass man. I remembered when I was learning it at first I had SO MUCH trouble with it cos it was very complex @.@ But yea, there isn't a lot here on this site. Most people on this site only want to learn the language to watch anime.....which is quite shallow I feel :|

Victorian look.........I remembered I got into that when I watched Gosick haha but I kinda prefer Washitsu. Kinda fascinated at the layout of it and such though I doubt a Washitsu can be made into 痛部屋

I've read Saya no Uta and the end shocked me so nope, I'm hoping Saya no Uta doesn't get animated forever.

Well a lot depends on the budget, like with the upcoming Rewrite in Summer :| I also wish there were more 2 cour anime then 1 cour but I guess that's hard.

I visited 4chan once, didn't like the community there. Somehow I feel 2chan is better than 4chan but that might just be me :|
I don't like the elitism there, the attitude of the community is quite bad too.
Frankly speaking, I don't really like H-scenes because for one most of them just doesn't seem to play a part in the story development. I mean I get it furthers the development between the MC and the heroine but I guess that's each to his/her point. Take an example of LB EX. I didn't really enjoy LB EX as opposed to LB PE even if the only difference between them is one has H content the other is all age.

OMG A GochiUsa tablet?! That's cool! Hahaha yea. I wished they could lower the price of VNs :| I don't mind them selling a cheaper all age version to be honest :|

To be fair there are a lot more, but most of them are in the light novel division so you don't see a lot of people proficient in Japanese enough. You should go explore those Light Novel clubs. But then again, this is a place mainly for foreigners. I don't see a lot of native Japanese people here on this site even if DeNA owns this site D:

Well, the 痛部屋 was more of referring to these type: http://itabeya.jp where they actually do your house. From walls to ceiling. I've seen some examples and it looked cool. Always wanted to live in those.

I didn't read Umineko. Watched the anime but couldn't get myself to read Higurashi and Umineko. I'm not exactly good with gore :| Even with the Higurashi anime, I nearly puked one of the episodes cos I couldn't take the gore(my friend recently invited me to watch Sadako vs Kayako when it comes out and I have to strongly refuse that invitation :| ).

Yea IKR. I'm waiting for more of Makura's VNs to be adapted. H20 was just.....decent I feel :| But I sure like to see Sakura no Uta or SubaHibi getting animated~

Yea but I'm kinda disappointed with how localization companies chose to localize nukige, which kinda brings a bad exposure to VNs. It's like telling people VNs are mainly for porn. I read VNs for the story, character development and such so I'm quite disappointed at how the Western side perceives VNs. I had a hard time getting my friend to read VNs that I just gave up altogether.

Well I understand what you mean. I've met quite a few really nice people too. I hope to really meet SCAJI one day and get to know him! Like you said, I perceive him to be quite the nice guy.

I think you might have been misunderstanding me, I've listed my location to be in Singapore but that's my home country. I've been residing in Japan for a few years now. Living here makes getting VNs so much easier though it's still so expensive that I couldn't buy ALL the VNs I want to read one shot ;____;

I have enough things from Key already so am just seeing if Rewrite+ will have some bonus content or what not before buying haha. I pre-ordered the AB 1st Beat when it was out for pre-order last time and didn't regret it :D I'm not really the type to collect these merchandise. I prefer buying the VN/anime BD only. I'm still saving money so one day I can get my own 痛部屋 :D

Oh thanks for the recommendation! I'll use the site from now on. As for videos while I do subscribe and follow twitters, I prefer consolidation videos like I shown you in the previous video. Makes things easier to track rather than reading tons of tweets haha.

Because of this, when I read Kitto, Sumiwataru Asairo Yori mo, it was quite tough as the Kanji puns took me a while to actually understand it.

It's sad really. I wish more people know SCAJI more. I agree with you he's a brilliant writer. One of the best I know.

The Western community have been exposed to a lot more VNs compared to last time but I feel that ultimately their taste will be very different since you see majority of the releases are all nukige. Which is pretty sad.

Shimotsuki Haruka have some awesome voice. I like some of the songs she sang.

I'm also waiting to see what comes with it though I'll probably get the normal edition because I already got the original one with Harvest festa and this one just seem to be just the main VN and the FD combined.

I AGREE. VN is an expensive hobby. Sigh

I don't really eat that extravagantly and per month I'll prolly get one or 2 VNs. If there's more that I like, I usually note them down then get it when I can haha.
