Heh, it's good to know someone liked it. I got a lot of detractors that review.

The thing is, people say I hate the When they Cry franchise, but I don't. I WANT to like it, but it just ends up destroying itself. Umineko started off GREAT. I thought it was going to be like that Agatha Christie novel. But all the magic and nonsense just ended up being frustrating. I would have preferred it be a 13 episode series about a family really hacking one another to death without the retconning and revivals and goat-headed servants. Oh well.
