NEW ANIME COLLECTION PICS
(my collection as of 5-20-09, without Kanon, it's in my car... ^__^)

_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_ 1.I add extra information into alot of my entries, so use the more button to view all info I have added... This includes Mini-Reviews, Things I Liked, Things I Didn't, Clarifications on Rating, and other facts of that nature.
*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
2. Detective Conan Current Episode doesn't reflect how far I have watched it, it is only a counter of the episodes I have watched... The most current episode I have watched is529.
3. I have added Awards into the Tags of some anime in my list if I I thought they deserved to stand out (even if there score was lower than others) *These are added sporadically to older entrees, as well as to some newer ones. Just because an entree doesn't have an award doesn't mean it doesn't deserve one, and it may eventually get one...*
Same goes for extra info, it can be added later, and some may have info while others that deserve it don't. I can't get everything, but I try not to play favorites. Just letting you know so if one of the entrees looks less detailed, or has less awards, it doesn't mean that it couldn't be better than the ones with such things.
4. I do make blog entrees so check them out...
5.Don't be afraid to comment, I like to hear what others think... ^-^
6. I don't Drop anime but some might be left on hold indefinitely.
7. I Usually try to watch anime one at a time, and watch the full series at once. This way I get a better feel for what the show was trying to convey. There are a few exceptions like currently airing anime, but even those I try to keep backlogged a bit. I also sometimes wait for Dubs to be made for the entire show before I watch it, like DeathNote, Lucky Star, Gurren Lagaan. (I might watch the sub for GL after the fact of waiting, since they changed and didn't use the dub I was waiting for.) Anyways do to this fact I might not always be up to date on the "Current Craze", and I usually tend to watch alot of older stuff, particularly alot of 90s anime... (Not old but older than what the current generation of Otaku are Watching... ^__^) I also have a little bit of apprehension of watching some shows, since they are just too popular at the time. (But this isn't a concrete rule for me, like it is for some Otaku. I do keep up with some of the popular shows, but I'm not always crazy about the hot new thing, I watch anime for different reasons...)
*. Important Dates:
1-5-09: Completed 200 Anime.
*Enjoyment Ratings 8-10: you can add Great/Amazing Comedy, and any other great characteristic of the show that is great/outstanding to the norm...
*ETC can stand for any of these things...
*And/or means it can have one or more of these Characteristics.
*When I say Dropped I mean I'm not watching anymore, the anime will be put on hold forever, at least probably.
Extended Bad Ratings:
Bad: Below Average, but might be watchable.
[can have "So Bad it's Good/Ok Award"]
Very Bad: Bad.
Might of had at least one moment but for the rest your in for trouble.
[can have "So Bad it's Good/Ok Award"]
Horrible:Really bad. Get ready for the pain.
Unwatchable: I don't really think anything deserves this rating.
Anime Scores are based more on the actual rating of the show, which means based on sound/story/etc (but mainly Story, Characters, and Emotion. And in some cases the art and/or audio lacking could lower the score) Enjoyment Ratings are based more on my personal enjoyment. Enjoyment Ratings and Anime Scores are usually the same, but some anime are better to me entertainment-wise while scoring-wise they are actually lower. In this case the Enjoyment Rating will be higher than the Anime Score. And Vice-Versa.
Watch for "*" Tags, they usually have an important comment about the Score.
*Ratings are also on a comparison table. If Anime A is equal, less, or greater in areas Anime B is, then their ratings will be reflect this. If a number rating cannot be confirmed initially, then the anime is compared to the others with ratings 5-10, and is judged accordingly. If it does not meet anything in these ratings, the Bad Ratings' guidelines come into effect. These guidelines are listed above.*
*Score of 6 (fine) also means Above Average.
*Score of 7 (good) also means Worth Watching, but not a must see. Definitely Above Average. (what I mean is just because an anime gets a 5 or 6 doesn't mean it's not good, it just means it's not As good) Special Note: I have noticed my scores are in the scale of 7-10 instead of 1-10, so over the next few weeks I'm going to try to scale them back to normal (or at least 5-10)...
Instead of judging solely on how much I liked it (I have been known to do that) I will add an additional score called enjoyment rating (e. rating)... Anyways It'll be show by show, so It might be awile...
Edit: I am considering how to handle this, but I don't like giving many shows a 4 or below, most shows have something good about them, or I don't watch them...
I have been watching anime for over 10 years now, and I continue to further my knowledge...
Although I mainly Watch Dubs, I also watch Fansubs. Lately I've been watching more fansubs like Naruto and Detective Conan. I have watched the dubs for both of these series and they are ok, but once you watch the fansubs these Dubs fall short...
I liked Case Closed until I found out they changed the names of most of the characters, the places, and they changed alot of the Japanese character based mysteries. On Naruto I wanted to watch more and fansubs were the only way to go (this was also true for Conan). In this series you lose alot without the subs, from the jutsus to the overall theme and mood of the show. I'm not saying these dubs are bad, but I'd never go back to them... (And I watch tons of Dubs!)
I also watch fansubs of shows not out yet during my anime club, which I'm Vice President of... ^-^ (edit: Now I'm the President... ^-^)
I'm very good with Photoshop and I'm getting good with Sony Vegas 8, I've used Sony Vegas in the past as well.. I'm working on my AMV for AWA 15 in the Expo Contest. I'm probably going to enter the Pro Contest Next year, but I just don't have time to watch all the other vids and watch all the anime I want, and make my first contest AMV at once this year...lol.
If you want more info about me, feel free to just ask... ^__^

It is a parody of my own version of the Logo. It isn't much, but I thought someone might want to see it... (btw this was done years ago)
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ *I promote buying anime. Fansubs are great, but when the domestic release hits, plz buy the DVD, even if you don't watch it... The American Companies put alot of effort and money into putting out these show in America, which in turn gives money back to the Japanese as well. If you just watch the fansub you aren't helping, but only hurting the industry. If you believe that if you don't buy DVDs that anime will all go underground again, I would look closer. If all the American Companies go under, Japan will lose a large source of money and not be able to produce more anime. So just remember next time you DL anime, at least try to buy it after you watch it... We can save anime if we put forth the effort.*
DO YOUR PART TO SAVE ANIME!!!
Buy the Gurren Lagann "Sub Only" Part 1 Box Set at you local retailer...
