Yeah, I'll be browsing through AnimeNano and I'll find your yearly summaries and I'm like, "WHAT SUBCULTURE UPDATED? I THOUGHT IT DIED?"
I also remember going to see your To Love-Ru summaries and seeing how bad the first season was. The second season was really surprising though. 8D
Glad you're still a fan of anime. I'd probably couldn't give it up all at once and instead I would gradually slow down and watch less shows until I stopped. Though I felt last year had some really solid shows such as Working!, Ore no Imo, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, and Kuragehime just to name a few. And this season we have Mawaru Penguindrum, so I'm quite happy with what is airing at the moment. :D

Ha ha. I stumbled across your MyAnimeList profile and I was like, "Didn't he write that one blog named SubCulture that died a long time ago?" I still remember checking your blog weekly for Toradora! updates and stuff.

Yeah, I'm afraid you're right. Right now the best series imo is HOTD, and you can only really enjoy that by accepting it for what it really is: an homage to those campy, 80's-era action-horror flicks.
