Maybe I'm just hating on the slow songs. I can't stand how little technique is involved in those. Let's hear some drunk guitar wanking please. Song likes Wink Sniper really have to go though. Effects are bad.
Don't mistake me. I actually like changes in a band. Otherwise you end up with The Local Art with no way distinguish one album from another. The singles included in Juunanasai were the "matured sound", but the rest were pointless fillers.
Fine Lines is pretty lame. Sure, it's nice to hear the vocalist. But the songwriting is utter crap compared to Husking Bee. It's only good for the voice.

C was acceptable for its time. Juunanasai was full of fillers (pretty much any song without a promotion video).
