One of a kind, 1 part Ski bum + 1 part (Anime)Otaku, all kinds of crazy. I don't read manga, I use that time for skiing. Furthermore Manga ruins anime by giving you expectations that are rarely if ever met. And I watch anime, so there you have it. I mean, if I had a nickle for every time I heard "The manga was better" I'd be a rich man...
*My top 5 are tied for my all time favorite, all 5 are #1 In My Opinion*
I generally HATE AMV's due to poor choice of track, and a lot of bad amateur ones around also help ruin them for me. That said I do like some, so I added 5 from my fav anime. I probably will add others as I see fit later :)

Sakamichi No Apollon Scence (Jazz Duo)
Sacred 7 "Troll OP" IMO is better than the Original. Enjoy :)
I was about to rec Chihayafuru to you because of how fond you are of Apollon, but I checked for it on your list first and it looks like you loved it too :O
I'm only halfway through, but this show is pure magic. And yes, it reminds me a lot of Apollon, but the two are completely different. Apollon was the joy and frustration of the characters' romances and family ordeals growing up given shape with the jazz sessions they played.
Chihayafuru is more the spirit of competition, the true spirit of it, when one's enjoyment of the game and desire to win are equal. But they have a similar atmosphere to me, and the storytelling in both brings out so much feeling.
Despite the extremely stock shoujo manga love triangle of Osananajimi -> Tomboy -> Subject of Slightly More Aspiration Than Attraction, it's a really amazing story.
Ahhhh, you were the one that liked Azazel. I possibly recommend Cromartie even more in that case. I wouldn't say it's exactly the same style of gags, since I've honestly never seen ones on Cromartie's level.
But any rate, the episodes are half-length in it as well, and it's definitely worth giving it a try at least. ;D
Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it. I do intend to do more reviews because I enjoy doing so, but I am a college student so I can't pump them out left and right like I wish I could. Means a lot when people tell me they like them though. :)
On thinking further about the soundtrack, I suppose the point of a soundtrack is to convey the feelings the show is supposed to give off, and Bebop definitely accomplishes that, so I suppose I was wrong. It does have a good soundtrack. Not my taste, but not a bad soundtrack at all, at least not for what purpose it had in mind. And I took another look at the art. When I wrote the review, it had been months since I last saw the show, and I just realized how wrong I was. The art is wonderful, and not just for its time. It still stands up. Sorry about that. :/ Thank you for taking the time to help me realize that.
I prefer things that are hand-painted rather than digitally painted, so I like even the old style of art at many times. I don't know much about whether something was hand-drawn or not( I've always assumed all or most anime were hand drawn). Bebop was good art for its day. I'd say that there are shows from its day that had better art, though. Or if anything, at least art I preferred. (That said, I often have said in the past Neon Genesis Evangelion has some of the best art ever for its day, but then again, I was watching a remastered version ._.) Also, I don't mind moe or chibi, but I'm not a fan of it either. As far as music goes, I don't really know how to objectively review music. It doesn't make sense to me. I personally didn't like the music-I'm just more into the dramatic orchestral stuff or perhaps the hard rock stuff (Ex:NGE, Gurren Lagann, respectively)(And NGE is very old) And I certainly have plans to watch more anime, I'm just not in a good position to do so at the moment. (Bad internet, blocked internet, avoids unofficial streams, etc) And I couldn't watch much anything in 1080 p if I wanted to. I don't own any HD television or monitor.
Relax. There are older shows that I do like (Ex: Neon Genesis Evangelion, The Big O, and Yu Yu Hakusho), it's just that this show wasn't really for me. I guraruntee you: Bebop wasn't bad. It wasn't bad in the slightest. It just wasn't my cup of tea. Also, as far as art goes, my favorite art from any older show was Neon Genesis Evangelion, or perhaps Blue Sub 06, so I can respect older stuff. I just didn't care for this show. To be fair, 2 of the episodes in Bebop I didn't get to see due to them not airing on TV for some reason. (Don't worry, I saw the last two episodes, and they were amazing)
