SEMIPERMAMENT HIATUS
I have ceased watching as much anime and reading as much manga as I would like
Until I have the funds and time to resume my hobby, i will not be very active here on MAL
I am also grounded for the next ten to sixteen months
And my parents are in the middle of a custody battle


THE PERSON
I'm that kid at your high school who sits in the corner with her face buried in a textbook, headphones blasting some obscure band while the others made out behind the lockers or in the doorways. I'm the kid who always seemed to have a new book with her every week. I'm the kid who insists upon doing things she can't.

But, mostly, I'm a crazy child of the new millennium.


THE OTAKU
I've been watching anime since i was five, starting with shows that my parents were nostalgic for such as Kimba: The White Lion. From there, I began watching Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, the usual kids fare. When I turned ten I began to download fansubs and became so desperate for this new media that I watched FoxBox when it started. I buy shitty video games just because they have my favorite manga or anime characters in them. My room is plastered with signs of not just otakudom but of geekdom - Napoleon Dynamite posters, movie festival pamphlets, video game cases and strategy guides.

THE GAMER
I play just about everything. In fact, some of my favorite games are first-person shooters, survival horror, simulation, music games and free-form RPGs such as the Elder Scrolls series. Most of my gaming is done on my father's beast computer, my GameCube, and my PS2. However, I also do a lot of retro gaming on my N64, SNES and NES.
