Your anime list is made private, not sure if it was an accident or not.
I was the same as you once. As a kid, I loved old series such as Slam Dunk and Digimon Adventure, but series like Beyblade started airing on TV which made me think anime was on the decline. However, the internet gave me access to Naruto and Bleach, that's when I realised I was wrong. Look at One Piece now, it has more emotions composed within, than any other series I have ever seen. It made Clannad and its sequel look like little girls' bed-time stories. Back when One Piece had only 200 episodes, it was just your typical shounen. One Piece has now trespassed the boundary between shounen and shoujo, it has enough drama to make even you cry.
I started to look for anime that had long enough episodes to allow myself become attached to its characters. A series of 24 episodes? Put in the declined pile without hesitation.
It was around just over two years ago, I met Pandora Hearts. I got cemented to the characters' personalities that it made me search weeks for sequel rumours. It was only 25 episodes long.
Thanks to my friends who refused to give up on me, I opened my eyes to all genres and threw away my philosophy. I no longer transcribed my ideals on what a good anime should be and it was the most rewarding decision. Series like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Tiger & Bunny came along and inspired me. They reminded me why I fall in love with anime and how the characters can still make me dream.
FMA:Brotherhood? I know it will be a brilliant series but I am in no rush to watch it, because there are plenty of top anime out there waiting to be discovered.
Remind yourself the character development of Vegeta, and check out one of the series I named above.

I've dropped Slayers. It is a very good series for its generation, but unfortunately, I grew out of that generation. However, I am glad to have experienced Slayers even if not the full package. I place Slayers in the same league as Yu Yu Hakusho. To not have known its existence would almost be criminal. That is why, I thank you for recommending it to me :)
A question, how is you anime history not showing each episode you watched at a specific hour, instead it shows only one entry for each series?

Yeah, both teams played quite bad in the second half, though I did find two players I kind of like Butland(GB) played a solid second half stopping some shots. And Hulk, he reminds me a tiny bit of Ronaldo, hope he turns out in a great player.
But with the teams like this it promises something for 2014, I call a Argentina - Brazil final, which Brasil wins.

...so what? it's myanimelist, I never claimed to be objective because I believe you're always going to be somewhat subjective.. :/
And no, I don't hate the show. I gave the first part a rating of 6, which (for me) means above average, while I gave the second part a 5 - which, according to my rating scale, means average. Don't misunderstand me please, I really don't hate it. I just think the adaption isn't as good as people make it out to be..
I do like the animation quality and the music (yuki kajiura is awesome:3), btw.

I started Slayers, in dubbed. Thanks for the rec.
Three episodes in, it shows potential. The humour is good, the protagonist is cute, and character development are decent. Not much build up, I was thrown straight into the main plot. Yet, still left mysteries to be deciphered. I hope the main characters power grow stronger and they would learn new skills. The animation and art are fine for its time.
I'll hit back as I watch more.

I have really enjoyed the first five episodes of The Legend of the Legendary Heroes and Eris has the most attractive personality. Are those Blue-Rays dubbed? I have been watching the series on FUNimation's YouTube channel (legal and free). Unfortunately, so far only the first five episodes have been English dubbed. The English voice actors are superb and Eris sounds more mature and more sexy in English. For this reason, I have put this on hold until further free dubbed releases.
We have a "High" anime compatibility, I would love to be friend with you and share thoughts and recommendations on anime, and possibly simul-watch together!
