Yeah, when people break out of their bubble and see all the different religions and philosophies it is usually a good experience that at least makes them more tolerant. I wonder why more people aren't atheists sometimes. But the power of fear, indoctrination, and dependence is too much I guess.

Haha, yeah I don't really know too many atheists either. Maybe 1 or 2. Yeah I don't see a need to "straddle the fence" as you say. Saying "you can't prove it either way" is just going to the claim that you can't really know anything for certain, which is true to some extent. But, taking that into your outlook of life is just unneccessary if you ask me. I admit we don't know everything as humans, but I say we know enough to determine that magic and deities do not play a role in our universe. If I get proven wrong some day, great. But obviously that's not going to happen. All in all I think people spend too much time worrying about life. People seem to be afraid to just live it as it is.
