It was sad, but I meant the lol as sort of a funny thing because the way I found out that my mom accidentally killed my pet was kind of funny. It was years after it had happened, at the dinner table, and I was asking my parents if they had ever killed an animal (my question came from a class discussion I had) and my mom was like "well..." it was surprisingly funny.

I actually do eat the little shell on shrimp tails, but I don't eat peanut shells with salt. I'm shocked that you eat raw spinach, everyone I've told is shocked and thinks it's weird haha

The one good side to having good weeks is that they stick out a lot. I do enjoy having a really good week after a series of bad ones because then I'll be able to think about a point in which things got better instead of getting worse for a change. Having a string of bad ones feels like the stock market to me (inner Finance student fuels up); the more you go up, you hope not to go down. But then again having a series of good weeks does sound like something I'd want.
Yeah I know what you mean about "huge confidence boost." But you also have to be conscious of whether those friends are just around for conversation or if they'll actually be able to help you when you need it as well. I'm the same with my friends, we have a group chat among ourselves and mostly used to talk to each other as a group or even make plans which happen very often. It's kind of nice because people can make suggestions for things and anyone can opt in if they want to part-take. Actually quite recently we planned a birthday party for a friend and it turned out pretty well since we relayed info back and forth, even though the location and such was done the day prior, it still went pretty well. Have you gone anywhere with friends recently?
Getting clothes is so nice since I don't really have many things that I want in terms of material possessions. As of right, the things I'd like to buy/ do are more intangible like travel and such.
True true but can't really call him a "kid" but rather "young adult" since he was around 14-ish. But regardless won't try to fault him for that and I managed to not put too much thought into it.
But that is true, all the original apps that were so cool back then like the lighter app, the grenade sound app, tap tap revolution and stuff. All of those were essentials back then but now it's all sophisticated games, social media or some form of bejeweled. I've actually seen a bunch of people playing solitaire on their phones, don't really get the hype around it since I used to play it back during the dial-up internet days.
Oh that kind of mortar :o that sounds so cool, I don't think we've done that here but then again it'd be kind of risky since it's a city and the slightest sound could attract unnecessary attention. I remember at uni we tried playing with some sparklers and people were afraid that campus police might approach us to ask what we were doing.
Looks like me and your brother are on the same boat. Deep into the ocean with no land in sight. It's funny when people tell me they're about to go on break because I have not heard that term apply to me in such a long time .-. Even though it hasn't been too long, it feels so foreign. I mean this time last year I was still at uni... actually I was just coming back from Spring Break at that time.
Having fun will come soon but as of right it's good to have a good baseline of funds just in case worst comes to worst. Make plans within even bigger plans. I'll look to do some traveling eventually since my life's been pretty deprived of that for a while but I want to make sure I can get out of a sticky situation if one were to appear.

I love storytelling youtubers. One of my favorites is Tana Mongeau. Who knows if her stories are real of fake, but she's super entertaining and full of energy.

That's so relatable haha. If I go to places with a menu that's not handheld and it's far away, like McDonald's or something (I don't eat there but just as an example), I can't read it. Lol. So annoying!

"I'm a big kid now" /o/ My 2017 is quite the roller coaster but luckily I'm able to have a good amount of weeks with ups and a bunch other with downs. Got to keep rolling with the punches ( ๑‾̀◡‾́)σ»
I sometimes wish I had the confidence to start conversations but alas I can only muster that up every now and then. However, when I get to know someone really well I can pretty much talk to them all the time without concern and even disregard my ability to start conversations if they're around. It's just troublesome when I don't have anyone like that around.
Trust me I'm the same way with messages. I feel as if I send something two times in a row, unless I know the person well, I feel like I'm becoming bothersome/ annoying.
Now that I'm older, clothes are so much better to receive. I'd take a new TV's worth in clothes if I had the chance since I don't watch much or any television. Kids /o\ they're a blast to be around until they start taking your stuff and quite possible losing them or breaking them. I remember some kid almost lost my iPod a couple years back since I tried showing him the "Lighter app" which was all the rage back then to have on your phone/ iPod touch.

As for me, I've been working /o\ filing taxes for the year /o\ making my own doctors appointments /o\ still adulting .-. But all in all I'm hanging in there. I've transition from the awkward post-graduate period to work life and now I'm starting to feel like I have responsibilities that are real. Although I miss being in school a bit, aside from studying all night and day for exams, I do miss attending class or at least walking to class and then getting to hang out with friends afterwards. Right now it's just work and commute home which does become quite repetitive. I'm very conservative with my funds so I try to splurge in moderation but as of right now I'm settling all my Finances before I feel comfortable enough to enjoy life as it should be.

I love storytelling youtubers. One of my favorites is Tana Mongeau. Who knows if her stories are real of fake, but she's super entertaining and full of energy.
Even if I got into another genre of music, I would keep my name as DJ Dim haha. Liking the cloud idea! At my concerts, I'll just have no stage lights.
That's so relatable haha. If I go to places with a menu that's not handheld and it's far away, like McDonald's or something (I don't eat there but just as an example), I can't read it. Lol. So annoying!
That's a nice way of looking at it. :) sunsets mean the day is ending, and that I will typically get sleep, or something fun will happen at night.

"I'm a big kid now" /o/ My 2017 is quite the roller coaster but luckily I'm able to have a good amount of weeks with ups and a bunch other with downs. Got to keep rolling with the punches ( ๑‾̀◡‾́)σ»
I sometimes wish I had the confidence to start conversations but alas I can only muster that up every now and then. However, when I get to know someone really well I can pretty much talk to them all the time without concern and even disregard my ability to start conversations if they're around. It's just troublesome when I don't have anyone like that around.
Trust me I'm the same way with messages. I feel as if I send something two times in a row, unless I know the person well, I feel like I'm becoming bothersome/ annoying.
Now that I'm older, clothes are so much better to receive. I'd take a new TV's worth in clothes if I had the chance since I don't watch much or any television. Kids /o\ they're a blast to be around until they start taking your stuff and quite possible losing them or breaking them. I remember some kid almost lost my iPod a couple years back since I tried showing him the "Lighter app" which was all the rage back then to have on your phone/ iPod touch.
A mortar? what kind of party was this... but regardless sounds fun /o/
Ayyy that's the only way :))) Gotta pick on someone for fun to let them know you mean business >:D jk I do it all in good fun. Never take things too seriously as well as helps them at least feel like they can enjoy being around me.
As for me, I've been working /o\ filing taxes for the year /o\ making my own doctors appointments /o\ still adulting .-. But all in all I'm hanging in there. I've transition from the awkward post-graduate period to work life and now I'm starting to feel like I have responsibilities that are real. Although I miss being in school a bit, aside from studying all night and day for exams, I do miss attending class or at least walking to class and then getting to hang out with friends afterwards. Right now it's just work and commute home which does become quite repetitive. I'm very conservative with my funds so I try to splurge in moderation but as of right now I'm settling all my Finances before I feel comfortable enough to enjoy life as it should be.
