Oh nice, I've added Bakuman to my list, I'll read it sometime, it looks nice...
Well, my favorite series are... well is Air, I recommend you to watch it. I saw you read the manga and the score you gave it wasn't so high... But try to watch the anime, though it's almost the same as manga... But well, back to the point, it's an amazing anime, a very beautiful touching story, it can get sometimes a little bit boring, but the end, wow... And, I've cried a lot in the end.
It's a short anime as well, only 13 episodes. Not a lot of people like this anime on MAL. I don't know why. But well, if you have time, I recommend you to watch it. But if you don't like it, no problem, everyone have different taste. ^_^
I recommend you to watch Kanon (2006) as well, also very touching anime. Great characters also pretty funny... To say the truth, while watching this anime, I've cried really a lot, more than by any other anime... Well, I think so,and yeaahh, even more than by Air. ^.^
And as finally I recommend you Blood+ ^_^ Nicely drawn (I think), very interesting and exciting (not really in the beginning though) and the story is also very good. But it's a pretty long anime, with 50 episodes...

Yes, saw a lot of nice anime... Like Kara no Kyoukai 6: Boukyaku Rokuon, watching now Lucky Star, very entartaining anime, Clannad (movie), finished Kanon (2006) (amazing anime!), that's it I think...
And the first commandment of that? Be patient. It's not always easy to find the right notes at once, but the more and longer you do it the better you become (obviously).
