I never thought about clear water in sense of being deceiving. To me clear means reflective and everything being visible. But you're right that it can be deceiving too. Both Jack and the Abyss are linked to water, and I think "from the depths of oblivion" is referring to the Abyss (Jack coming to Oz from the Abyss). There also seem to be lilies in the water and around them, which are symbols of purity, and possibly symbols of Lacie. But Jack is very pure too, or "as pure as he is twisted" as Revis put it. Jack is pure and clear as water (observed by Oswald).

You're right that Jack seems a bit like a water spirit reaching for Oz in order to pull him underwater. Wonder what it would mean if he did pull him in? Probably a submergence of Oz into the influence of the Abyss and of Jack's desires.

I didn't see a clock. As for "body remembers," I'm not sure what that would mean. The Japanese is probably very vague about it. I think it could mean that though Oz doesn't consciously remember his past lives, he is still subject to it. For example, even though he didn't do anything himself, Oz's sin is still his very existence. And even though he didn't do anything to have a right to B-Rabbit in this life, he is still the one meant to wield that power. Oz often has reactions to situations that can't be accounted from with just his present life. His reactions and personality are subconsciously shaped by memories he has forgotten, just like Gil's are.

I think Jack cares both about Lacie and the twins, and about Glen too, but I do agree that he cares about Lacie the most. I don't think he would ever mean any harm to the Alices. Everything we currently know about Sablier suggests he was trying to protect Alice from Glen. But it still might want to ask Alice to use the Will's power to bring Lacie back. I guess we have to wait and see what his ultimate priorities are and how much he cares.
