Indeed. Just sounded like a bunch of malarkey. Mondaiji did have a lot of untapped potential. Doubt we'll be seeing a second season though.

You can try the manga out, it's actually pretty damn good. Then you can just go for ther VN whenever that remake is finished.

Yes, I believe it is just a manga adaptation of the novels? I have a few volumes in English but I think it was canceled, either in Japanese or by the English translator or both. What I read was not particularly impressive though.

I like the ef manga (the love triangle part anyways). I don't like the ef anime. Same thing with Negima.

Mhm, plot was never really it's intention; the slice of life kinda got more coverage than any tangible development.

Yeah, I didn't really care for the plot either -- the interactions were nice, but not exactly fulfilling. Pretty animation though.

Well when saying i read it mostly for the ecchi, i don't really mean the ecchi itself but the rom-com that typically comes with ecchi.

With ecchi I also mean the rom-com that comes with it. There was more in Negima, but I wouldn't like to read a Negima without the ecchi. So that means that for me the ecchi plays a large enough role in Negima to justify calling it an ecchi manga.

I only recently replaced my top favourite myself. Not by Negima though, there are multiple anime and manga better than Negima in my opinion. But it is by far the best ecchi I've read to date.

I started with a 10-4 scale but I branched downwards so now I use the whole 10-1. It makes my average quite low, but it's easier to rate things now since there's a bigger difference between grades.
I hope to find a new favourite as well :P
I usually don't expect much from the ecchi section, that is why Negima was such a surprise.
