I am curious, why do you think the ending of Odd Taxi is bad? Is it because of the human twist or characters that were unresolved? I thought the whole implied serial killer bit was weird myself and it felt like it ended the anime on a weird note that honestly begs for a small OVA series.

I saw your Violet Movie review and I absolutely agree. For me, the movie is still a 9/10, but bc of the 2 hours of movie before the 20 min long ending was just perfect imo. The whole story arc with this ill boy was the saddest shit I have ever seen. To see all the characters from the series become more wise, like the girl who writes theater story now... it was just great. But the ending was just disappointing... Imo it does not was generally bad, but not good either... I completely agree with your points you made, but there are some things I also want to mention that bothered me even more... and this was the relationship between the major and violet. In the series, for me their relationship was more like father and daughter or brother and sister... But after the Movie, its not to ignore that their relationship is more like the relationship of two lovers... I really really dont like that... imo it is very disgusting... Its not the huge problem, that the major is much older than violet (about 15 years), thats in general isn't the problem. The problem is, that he raised her like a child. He learned her how to read and how to write, gave her a name and was literally a father figure for her... when they met, she was about 10 and he in his mid 20s... but when gilbert said to violet, that he loves her, she was 14 and he 30... if he meant this "I love u" in a romantic way, it's very disgusting imo... its like adopting a child with 10 yo... while being a grown man. And then fell in love after 4 years... and banging when she turns 18... and i am actually scared how many people have not problem with this... xD

Long story short. I agree with your review, even tho it doesn't effect the enjoyment for the movie as much as it did for your. ^^

I saw your review on the Violet Evergarden Movie and while I'm happy either way I do think they should've gone another way with the ending. It does feel like it kind of takes away from the point of the show and does a full 180. Still, many tears. Mostly with Yurith. That shit was sad
