I suppose you have a good point with the 'steamrolled' issues. But you could have added spoiler but made the readers aware of it though. Anyways good talking to you :)

Honestly i would disagree with your rating of a 5 and I reckon thats where you would get most of the haters from. Though it is confusing with the time skip i didnt really find it that bad. Though what you should have mentioned was about Drei. I couldnt work out how a little flat chested girl turns out to be a badass assassain with D cup breasts in 2 years or something.

Strange why it's rated so good, then. On WA it has a 9 (it's in the top 81), i've heard from many people that it's the one of the best shows of the season; and atleast on MAL - it has a 8.20.
Probably only kids rate it on 9-10, following your logic.

Thank you incredibly for literally laying out every problem I have with Another: the music, the characters, the story, and even the fact that the art is not a problem. I've had to resort to having in-length discussions with my roommate while I get through the show b/c (1) I couldn't find anyone to discuss with online & (2) I'm generally more comfortable explaining my points about anime in person than electronically (Funny since I'm the opposite with most every other topic of discussion).

How badly do you think it would take away from the seriousness of your review to add a comment noting this show's "similarity" to a Japanese TV series anime rendition of Final Destination?

EDIT: I also thought this anime did a "good job" of catering to fans who enjoy a horror genre where the main party is completely inadequate in solving the mystery. But, I generally have problems enjoying that genre because of the cluelessness. Your thoughts?
