Hehe. Most people drops Horizon before the fourth episode, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Since it's like reading a novel, the beginning is not always the best part.
For the second season, I enjoyed every part of it xP
I hope it will be the same.

You see now why I love it ?I should get around re-watching it for the greatness it is. But heh, my mind is mostly filled with Chihayafuru, Kami Nomi Zo Shiru Sekai now, with the recent Kotoura-san (So far, I cried on every episode. I'm really weak)
... I'm having an hard time to class my favorite, I guess. xD

Well, for something really epic, there's Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon. The firsts 3 episodes of season 1 are some information dump, but just so you know, when I reached episode 5, I couldn't stop watching. I'm currently doing a marathon of season 2, so I'm really into it today ><
If you want something epic in a complete other category, go watch Tantei Opera Milky Holmes. Just don't forget to don't think much about the logic behind this anime.
