Well, to be honest, I can't think of any other rescent Future Warfare games worth mentioning besides Halo 3. But I only say that from what others of have told me. I'm not an Xbox man myself.

It's kinda wierd talking about 40K. I haven't even thought about it for years now it's popping up all over (not that it's a bad thing). I'm in the same boat with 40K as I am with Mecha Packs. Would love to build and paint them, but I just don't have the free time anymore. It sucks growing up. T_T

I 'did' have a megadrive emulator. I lost it when I installed Windows 7. I wasn't fust like. The emulator and games are ony tiny and take seconds to download. I wasn't a fan on playing megadrive games with the keyboard so I bought a cheap controler. That way I could play the games how their ment to be played. ^___^

Don't worry about the late reply mate. As you can see, I'm no flash myself. :P
Been busy too, but with work and general house/family jobs. Life goes on though.

I am indeed a COD player. USed to in a clan that entered competitions. Never won like, it was always Packard Bell, EA or Dignitas that won. ¬_¬ Can't wait for MW2!! It looks sweeet!! Heh! I don't really get that much time to play games like I used to. Sarah is still away so I'm taking full on advantage of the game playing situation. Mwwahaha! She back at the weekend then back at Uni all week again. I am missing her like. I'm always the one off doing something, not her. :P

A-Levels can get pritty full on like. I too took Buisiness Studies... I only did it the first year though... should have done media studies (which I started in the second year). I'm assuming you'll be aiming for Uni yourself? It's a life changing experience so I'm told. Me, I started working instead. Sometimes wish I'd done Uni instead but then I wouldn't have my own house and Sarah. Swings and roundabouts. lol

Not jealouse of your getting up time mate. I'm a living zombie at the best of times, never mind a carck of dawn rising. O_o You have my sympathy.

As for this weekend, no real plans to be honest. Sarah's back so I'll be doing pritty much anything she wants. *shadow of a thumb appears above him* O_O

Just been playing Batman and gonna play some COD:MW for an hour I reckon. Then I'm gonna finish off with some School Rumble before bed. ^___^

Hope the Games Day went well mate? I could never see myself getting up at 4am for anything less than a holiday abroad. And even then, I'd probably still be complain lol.

I'm so knackered today. Keep yawning my face off. My fiance is away for two weeks so I have the house to myself. Took advantage last night by staing up till 3am playing games and watching South Park. :P

Think I'll sllep tonight.

Sounds like you had a bit of a nightmare mate. Sounds like your getting as stressed as I am at work. It's no way to go about your dailey life. We'll just have to look on the brighter side... less than two days till the weekend. *puches the air in celebration*

Damn, I'm tired again today. Was up till 3.00am watching Toradora! last night.

Tonight I'm planning on being more chilled. Probably only watch anime till 2.00 am instead. lol

Hey there what's up ? Haven't talk to you in awhile.

Haha yeah I would say I agree with you on the modern day bits in AC 1. They seemed incredibly pointless and they added no atmosphere whatsoever- which besides advancing the story is probably the only other argument that they would have for even using the modern day setting at all...but as for the actual game I would say that I really enjoyed it- I liked having multiple ways to go after one guy and I also liked the fighting a great deal, as I said before.

In all honesty though, I didn't think the setting was too repetitive persay- I mean you could argue the same thing about Prince of Persia, but I absolutely loved that game even with that said. See to me what matters the most in games, anime, manga, novels, movies, etc. is how much they are able to immerse you into the story and I feel that AC succeeded to some degree in that regard- but it was nowhere near the prowess of Prince of Persia in those terms (which I beat yesterday btw haha). I did love the medieval setting though, and the overall atmosphere kept me playing but I would be lying if I said I would put up with the same exact gameplay as before. Since, it did get boring at points, even to me, and considering there are so many other games that I could be playing with better atmosphere, gameplay, and whatever have you- I simply would not put up with it a second time through.

So yeah, essentially that's my take on AC1 but I do have high hopes for the sequel- also you really should try to put up with the game until the end, since the last shot of the game is somewhat interesting to say the least. I will warn you though- the ending itself kind of sucks...but believe it or not, once you go back to the "modern day" at the end...some interesting things happen. Sorry if that was a minor spoiler...

But anyway, I was gonna ask you- have you read NOiSE yet? Its so fucking good- I even wrote my first review for it, so you can check that out before hand. You can read a scan of it on onemanga.com and they have a shit ton of other manga on that site all for free. Give it a shot.
