Strange how you found this page considering I'm not the most active MAL member but I do like keeping track of shows and I also have a philosophy when it comes to anime that is very similar to Pokemon--I just want to watch them ALL. Unfortunately real life gets in the way and being an amateur otaku doesn't pay well so I must go out into the sunlight at some point.

I am a university student who lives in New York City and absolutely adore it. My very first anime was probably Spirited Away which I horribly under appreciated and now it's one of my all time favorites. Then a friend told me to watch Ouran High School Host Club after insisting and insisting and I became obsessed. I still teasingly blame her for my affliction, and in many ways I'm more obsessed than she is. Afterward I somehow got into Sailor Moon, and it just continued escalating from there. I just COULDN'T STOP. Then I began preaching to other people about the wonders of anime, converting whoever I could. And now I've almost viewed 50 anime series.

That's all you need to know about me I suppose. About my tastes:
I generally watch anime over reading manga so I wouldn't bother looking at that pitifully empty page. I also generally go through cycles of shoujo and shonen pieces because my tastes are so eclectic and a ton of different styles appeal to me :)

I'm always open to suggestions. I'm studying Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese and if you are willing to help me practice PLEASE DO!
