I am Sora_N and welcome to my MAL profile page. I have been an anime fan for a long time now (over 18 years and yes, I am over 30); although, it does not feel that long… My all time favorite anime series is Fushigi Yuugi and The Story of Saiunkoku..
I am currently going to college and getting my BA degree. I am very interested in the Japanese culture and I am currently studying Japanese. I love swimming and I am a licensed scuba diver. I am a lesbian and I am engaged to my wonderful partner. I’m also a feminist and I don’t believe in god or deities.
I will watch any anime series that seems interesting to me. Even though I’m a lesbian I happen to enjoy BL/yaoi along with GL/yuri.
My favorite Genres are: Fantasy, Romance, Action/Adventure.
Sub-Genres/Themes are: Magic, Military/Police, Historical, Mecha and of coarse BL/GL.

I am still working on my manga list (I had a lot of manga series; however, I sold most of my collection because I moved so much and had not a lot of room...I am trying to remember all of the series I owned).

No, it is not a dumb question, it is a card club and every month there are polls generated to pick a couple of the month in several categories: Yuri, yaoi and straight couple. Once a winner is 'elected' for each category, then an LE series is created by some of the card makers and released to the membership.
lo as in the phrase "Lo and behold" as in look what I found, how cool is that.

Don't think of it as a waste of money. Because it is not. You have realized that a big/small ceremony is not in the cards just yet, the key phrase is yet. If you think of it as a waste, you will be more apt to keep putting it off. Try this: You may have already done this part, figure out how big, how much and how many you want for your ceremony/reception. Then figure out the costs. Then the two of you, sit down w/ the numbers and pick a realistic date. With that date and the numbers, you can then budget a little bit of money every two weeks. ( Sorry about that, I am a guy and it's in my nature to try to fix things.) Weddings are supposed to be fun/hectic/crazy. You shouldn't miss out, but don't call it a waste of money, it's yours' and hers' big day. Besides, it's not like you two are a traditional couple, why should your wedding day/celebration be any different? But what ever you two decide, make sure to make it about the two of you.

I really don't like were I work. I don't want to say that I hate it but the team that runs the maint. mechanics are doing there damn-est(sp?) to get a union in our shop. I really don't want to leave b/c the benefits are too good to pass on. Oh well I guess.
Sorry to hear about your status. If you need a sounding board or need to vent, send pm, I've got big shoulders; even if nothing gets accomplished you might feel better. Spring is right around the corner. Still planning a wedding?
