***Gasping for breath*** I just saw an 8 minute preview of the new remake of Ai No Kusabi and the hotness has me sweating and blushing and breathing heavy. OMG...I was a nay-sayer, I couldn't imagine improving on that 20 year old cornerstone that literally changed the way we watched yaoi animation, on so many levels. But this preview is just....Oh. My. GAWD! I really can't wait for it to be released. The first one was incredible but I do believe they've actually improved on it. And the story...OMG the story.... *sigh*.
Ok, I'm on episode 16 of Nana and I can't figure out if I like it or if I want to rinse my eyes with eye bleach. I suppose there has to be something to create tension but the "Hachi" Nana is driving me up a wall. Stupid doesn't begin to cover this character. How did I get invested enough to give a damn that Shouji screwed her? She's a blithering idiot.
But I'll continue to watch because I have to see where this is going. Besides, there's only 31 more episodes to go.
Just got done watching the full season of Loveless and I'm disgusted. It's horribly unfair to string a person along and then not only not answer the questions but leave more questions that you had to begin with. I suspect the entire season was just a big marketing campaign for the manga. >>RASPBERRY<<
I'm also hoping someone who is into shota can explain to me the attraction. Was it absolutely necessary to make the primary love interests a 12 year old and a 20 year old? Couldn't the young one have been 16 or 17 or 18 and still be young enough?
Yeah, the first 7 minutes is a bit of an eye-opener. If you can get through that, you'll love the rest of the show. It's kindof like "Saving Private Ryan" that way.
