...then you might like Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse add

Both have girls recruited in somekind of military
Both have aerial combat
Both are trying to defend their country
Both are dealing with an opposing force such as Neurois/BETAS
Both have fanservice

Both are very fun and amazing to watch as well, if you don't mind a bit of fanservice.

If you liked FLCL add

...then you might like Dead Leaves add

It's simply amazing how wild these shows can be.

If you liked Beck add

...then you might like K-On! add

Both animes obviously have to do something with musicians, however, while K-ON is concentrated more on moe style designs and a more comedic tone, Beck has more of a realistic approach concerning art and is all the more serious with it's story line.

If you watched one, you might or might not like the other. Both are inspiring to the musician.

If you liked Bakuretsu Tenshi add

...then you might like Canaan add

Both have a strong female lead character that have supernatural powers
Both have a weak female side character that admires the protagonist
Both have main character designs that look fairly alike
Both have hints of yuri in it
Both endings are somewhat similar and leave you wanting for more

Both animes are really good and should be worth a shot if seen one or the other.

If you liked Steins;Gate add

...then you might like Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica add

There's a HUGE amount of similarity in here that it'd be a spoiler to tell.

So in short, both are alike except one has to deal in the Science Fiction genre while they other one remains in it's Magical Girl genre.

Both of these are amazing! If you watched one, then you'll definately love the other regardless on the order you watched them. And they both have great music too!

There's a lot of similarity going on here:

Ed/Shinji's relationship with their father and deceased mom
Lt. Ross and Brosh look similar to Shigeru and Maya
Makoto and Kain look very much alike and are both trustworthy
Sheska and Ritsuko both look similar but one is geared towards books
Both have something going on in the military/NERV
Both have supernatural beings such as Homunculus/Angels

Both are both amazing must watch anime series that you won't want to miss!
