Over Drive is a great anime once you get past those first couple of funky-drawn episodes. The ending race is totally intense to the max. Lucky for you the complete series is available to watch in it's entirty. Gawd, it was hell on wheels waiting for subs when it was airing in the middle of the race. That Shinozaki just doesn't know the meaning of the word 'quit.'

Horror, eh? I took a gander at your planning list and you've got almost every single one that I would have recommended in that genre.
Mnemosyne and Speed Grapher for certain which you all ready have. There is a spin off of Mononoke called Ayakashi-Japanese Classic Horror that is good if you find that you like Mononoke.
There are also prequels, sequels and side stories for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - this anime twists and turns all over the place.
Have you thought about Monster? It has some subtle horrific moments, but most of it comes from the staggering mind games of the storyline.
