So far, I like Bokurano as much as the anime. No more, no less. The art looks the same, the battles aren't that great and there haven't been many differences at all so far... In terms of seeing the story in a different light, reading the first 25 chapters has been a waste of time. I'll delve deeper into it when I cba.
Shadow Star seems shit, going on the anime. Is the manga better or the same?

I dunno. See, Noriko was a sympathetic character right from the start of Gunbuster, and then the writers put her through hell, and the viewer went through it with her. But Nono is just annoying (and possibly brain damaged), and the story is all over the place, and I don't feel any reason to care about her. Diebuster also lacks the tension of the Noriko/Kasumi dynamic. It just feels shallow in comparison, more like a prototype of Gurren Lagann.
Evangelion is awesome in its own way. Gunbuster, sadly, was never anywhere near as popular or influential. I actually want Gainax to leave it alone and not tarnish my memories any more ;_;

I don't mind random comments... as long as they are not completely random, lol.
I like new FMA, it feels a bit rushed so far but I guess it's that way so that we can get new story sooner.
Your profile picture is also... interesting.

Is "ho" good or bad? You'll have to forgive me since I was born in London, not the Bronx or Compton.

More like, Persona 3 & 4 are the ultimate love 'em whillst secretly hating 'em games. Heavily flawed, yet they're still the most addictive games ever made.
If you haven't, you should seriously pick-up P4 while it's still selling new for a tenner and also get P3: FES. You won't regret it.
That topic you speak of: it looks like it's now been deleted. I found it strange that it wasn't deleted straight away, it containing lots of negative forum stuff.
To answer your question, I'd prefer AUKN just to have more intelligent lifeforms. JamesX and otaku-san don't qualify.

It ain't insultin' if you put "...................NOT!!!!' at the end.
Nah, ain't me. He struggles to keep up with my endless rubbish. He does try, though...bless him.
I haven't felt sick for quite a long time now, Fox Boy, so I can't relate. Howver, I can't see how watching something as dull as Casshern could make you feel better. When ill comedy is the best way to go; not boring. And, also, I fail to see how an episode from a series with a ployt stretched to the limit in order to fill all 24-26 episodes could have a deep one. I'm going to assume it was Kurozuka confusing rather than deep.
Never went back to Michiko after watching the first few episodes. It was quite good but there didn't seem to be a main plot and it just wasn't my cup of tea, just like Mushishi isn't.

Oh, I know what turtling is :D
No, I don't do that. I hardly ever use electricity. Besides, doesn't a good c.HK take care of electricity spammers? I really don't understand how people can enjoy playing with those kind of "tactics", nor how the shoto Fireball/Dragon Punch spammers don't get bored after five minutes.

I'm a very casual player. Be clearer next time, young man.
Blanka is my main. I chose him primarily because a friend's main is Guile, and according to all the guides I've read, Blanka has the edge over him. Those guides would appear to be correct, for I am as yet unbeaten with the green hairy beast, even though Mr Friend is a much better and more experienced player than me.
I've been dabbling with Chun-Li and Rose (not a euphemism) but I'm finding it a lot tougher with them. Hmm.

Whatchoo talking 'bout, Willis?
Nice Cammy pic. I wonder if there exists any image of her in which she's not showing her arse. I sure hope not.

Hey-- Blood hell, it's been a year already?! Anyway, Hokuto no Ken is what it is; violent, funny, retro and oddly fascinating. Also, it's a much more 'epic' feeling series than people give it credit for, too! Lots of armies, long, open roads and decaying cities. The thing is, it's a bit 'basic' in terms of character depth/complexity, but that's a big part of its charm, too. Honestly, I can't watch it in large chunks, but it's an entertaining way to wind down in those late evenings!
As for Casshern Sins; I'm trying to savor every moment of it. It's definitely my favourite anime from 2008 (just beating out Xam'd, Kaiba and Soul Eater), it's just that it seems like every time I watch an episode, I have to write about it too!

Yeah, I drew it, but now I kind of regret uploading it. Every time I see it I find another fault.
I think I have to redraw it.
Thanks, though.
I finished Xam'd after I left you that comment.
I mustn't have payed much attention during the second half of the series, because only parts made sense, and so I like the first half better.
Probably need to re-watch it. Actually, I think the only thing I didn't really understand was the whole Quickening Chamber business. So...a major plot point.
And now I've picked up Eureka Seven again and can't help but notice all the similarities.

HAHAHAHA
That One Piece picture is great. I think that's why I love it now, too.
You watch too much anime.
How was Xam'd?

You never knew your parents, met a fox one night on the street, became one of the fox and swore to become accepted by normal society?
When I was younger, it annoyed me how people would put on a fake smile and say, "You're an intelligent young man." I would've rather not had people be dishonest with me and say the 'correct' thing. False flattery is insulting. I can't say I would've rather been insulted for my stupidity but I would've preferred silence.
It's good to hear I didn't waste my time following Xam'd until the end. I'll leave it unfinished unless Manga snatch the license from The Buzz and sell the series in cheap 2-3 disc sets in the future. I really, really hate it when animes end as confusingly as possible in order to trick the Evangelion massive into thinking confusing as fuck = depth. I try to stay away from those sort of series if possible.
I dropped Casshern way back. It never seemed to be going anywhere, with a thin plot getting stretched to fit into a 20+ episode series. The gloomy feel appealed to me but I was unable to ever get into it because of the pacing. Does it get better towards the end or stay pretty much the same?
Also, another question: Have you read a lot of single volume manga stories? I've read a couple recently (Goth and Socrates in Love) and liked 'em a lot. I've ordered Voices of a Distant Star and want to get more. It's cheaper than buying endless series and more enjoyable than sitting through one story for 40 volumes.
