My name is Kathryn K Williams. I'm a 30+ married lesbian writer and artist. I started watching anime back in the late 70s starting with things like, The little Prince and Fables of the Green Forest. It was when I watched Nausicaa that I became permanently addicted to the art style and decided I wanted to make it my career. I was already on the road to becoming an artist as my parents forced me into ever art class imaginable, but the teachers would not allow me to draw anime, thinking it was not appropriate and later too childish.

In the 90s I became part of a local university anime fan club where I got majorly involved in the fansubbing industry. I helped out with some edits and dubbed a lot of tapes, but for the most part I just did a lot of trades with other fans, which entitles each of us copying our tapes and exchanging them. This lead me to having an extensive collection of over 400 VHS's, which took up most of my apartment back then.

In 97 I attended my first anime con and that was it for me. People liked my art so much that I began working on self publishing my own manga and selling them at conventions and comic book stores. When it was discovered that my specialty other then art and writing, was shoujo-ai I quickly found myself hosting panels at more conventions then I can recall. After several years I climbed to Guest of honor only to have my personal life come crashing down on me and needing to quit that life style for the time being.

For 5 years I gave up on manga/anime entirely. Turned entirely to writing lesbian novels, which I've completed 7, and soon after found my soulmate and got married, jan 05,. It is because of her that I've returned to anime/manga in general and even started drawing again. In 08 I began to draw illustrations for my novels and in 09 I started works on my newest shoujo-ai manga project, Inside OuT.

When I'm not working on art or writing I spend much of my time watching and reading anime/manga. Aside from that I spend my time with my lovely wife playing video games and just enjoying life.

As for anime and manga in general I tend to watch a wide range. While I tend to stick with things that have lesbian context of some kind I do enjoy a good psychological story as well.

Also I enjoy horror survival game, Rule of the Rose is the best, and RPGs. Right now working on Persona 3 FES. I also read a lot of horror novels in my spare time and watch way to many movies to care to admit too. LOL
