My Random MAL Facts:
I don't accept random friend requests, unless you give me a decent reason why you've done so.
I don't watch next episode previews unless they don't have any clips of the next episode.
I drop a show if I don't like it after 3 episodes, unless I'm convinced that it's worth seeing it through.
I try my best to be objective, but sometimes I do tend to let my emotions w/ a show fluctuate my ratings.
I try to rate a show at how successful it is at what it's trying to convey (comedy, drama, etc).
I watch 3/4ths of a show before I actually give it a rating.
Dislikes:
Rating a show negatively or w/ a 10 on the basis of the first episode.

I just read your comments, then followed up by taking a look at your list. I was just considering leaving a similar post on your profile page when I noticed you'd just said the same thing to me already...
This happens to be the first time I've met any member with whom I have a compatibility higher than 90% despite having more than 50 shows in common.
Oh wow, I am the exact same way actually, I know exactly where you are coming from. I always need to re-watch something to really get a better understanding of how good something was. I suppose it's because it is a completely different experience when you know what to expect of the following episodes, or something along those lines maybe.
Glad that my list might be of some help, it seems you like some of the same genres that I like so I'm sure you would love most of the same ones that I loved. It's definitely not easy for me to rate things sometimes though, I feel like I am constantly influenced by other people opinions, but maybe there is some good in that, I don't know.
I'm likin' that Balalaika picture a lot hehe. Ah, and I also see her looking good in your list background as well, very nice.
