We speak the same language, sir. I'd go to a con for the Japanese guests, the panels and the dealers' room, rather than the concert(s) and/or dub actors.
You are a pretty lucky dude getting to see Ishiguro. If you take a gander at my favorite people, you'll notice that he's my favorite anime director (and I haven't even seen the Yamato TV series). LOGH and Macross are enough to put him in the pantheon, and I am loving the 1980 iteration of Astro Boy that he and Tezuka crafted.
A Go Nagai panel would be really cool, as well. Who is running it and what are they talking about? What are your favorite Go Nagai shows?
