Haha! Evangelion was the first anime I ever watched (apart from the original Transformers & Astro Boy cartoons when I was a kid) and is one of my favorites of all time, so I like reading what other people think of it :)

Oh, if you want a bit more bang for your buck watch the Re-builds (Evangelon 1.11, 2.22 & 3.33) they definitely focus on the action & Mecha & less of the mind fuck the pilots go through :)
Hi, just read your review on Evangelion. I understand why the ending bored you, but before you write the series off make sure you watch End of Evangelion (don't bother with Air-Death & Rebirth, it's just a big recap). Although it may create more questions than the last couple of episodes it finishes things off the way the creators originally wanted to. I recently recommended to a friend to drop the last 2 episodes and just watch EoE.
