Hmmm, well for me the series wasn't that good, it was good up to the episode 50 or something like that then it turned into fillers. What i love to re-watch is the OVA that concerns with Kenshin's past when he was a Hitokiri Battousai, that OVA is the best thing i've ever watched :D. Oh and after my comeback, the next anime i watched was Record of Loddoss War :D, i still remember it was pretty great :).
It's weird laziness only strikes certain things:P, for example i never get lazy from watching anime or playing videogames, but i get lazy when i have to go get a haircut :P:P, i think this is the bad type of laziness :P. I agree about this site, it's remarkable how much it is helpful to organize your anime/manga list, for example, i always wondered how many anime series i've watched, now i know :D, even though i think there are some series that i forgot to list :(. Oh and sometimes it scares me when i look at the number of series i am currently watching, it feels like it's a huge responsibility to keep following all of them :P.
Well let's see, Basilisk is a very fine anime, with a storyline that also occurred during the Japanese chaotic history. This anime is about two ninja clans that hated each other for years and now they are controlled by the Shogun who orders them to basically fight for death. I'm sure u'll enjoy watching it :). In terms of TV series, there is a series called Shinsengumi that portrayed the story of the Shinsengumi group, and it truly shows you the real personality of everyone. For example, it shows you how Saito Hajime was a spy who worked under the orders of Hijikata Toshizo, and it also shows you how Hijikata was a ruthless murderer and an artist of torture, and it also shows you how Okita Soji was the strongest member of the Shinsengumi but due to his sickness he was always handicapped during fights. This series shows the success and downfall of the group, all the way to the age of the GUN :).

When you mentioned how Kenshin was ur first anime, u kinda brought back memories, i used to watch anime/cartoon when i was like 4 or 5 years old then i grew up and stopped watching or following any series, then my comeback came through Kenshin Tsuiokuhen, and seeing how amazing and well done that OVA was i knew that i should go deep into the anime world and thats what i did, never regretted it :D....
So you're lazy as well, then welcome to the Club :D:D, i used to dislike website like this one cz it takes too much time to write details and lists and bla bla, but recently i've been forcing myself to do stuff in order to get rid of my laziness :P, hope it works out :).
Peacemaker Kurogane is one of my favorite series cz it is linked to all the things i love, especially to the Shinsengumi and to the real history of Japan. I am a fanatic of the Japanese history, traditions and culture, therefor i loved how the series was so loyal to the real historical facts, for example the dojo raid which occurred at the end of the series, it happened in real life and the events were very close to the one portrayed in the anime.
Oooppss, i think i talked too much, now back to my lazy form :P
