I keep trying to chase that high that I got when I first started watching anime in the 1990s, and while I do get it, it never seems to be enough because time moves forward not backwards. To those who have not watched much anime yet, this will one day happen to you to. You'll keep trying to chase that Anime high you got when you first started, but you'll never obtain it so you just relax, stop caring,and enjoy whatever you want. Anime that caught my interest from 1970-now I have downloaded onto my HDDs. I will never have to worry about looking for them ever again to watch. I do delete them after I've finished because I rarely re-watch anime there's no time to and it will never be satisfying like the first time you experience it. Feels fucking amazing. Lots of hidden gems from each decade that people are sleeping out on. Not me though. I don't care about reviews/Scores all that much because I've watched and enjoyed plenty of Anime that many people here have reviewed with very low scores and have watched Anime with high praise on MAL that I FUCKING DESPISE. So pretty much the scores I give are for my personal satisfaction. Not to please or anger anybody. I'm also not that harsh on the Anime I watch. I can enjoy most stuff because I like the characters/story even though many might say they're bad. I look at anime on a deeper level than most around me. It has to connect with me. When an anime connects with me and I connect with it, I then fall into passionate love for it. Regardless of the flaws I will still love it with all of my heart. >But why do you have so many high scores for Anime you've watched? Because I personally tend to DROP & AVOID anime I don't like and COMPLETE & PICK UP anime I tend to like. Simple concept right? It works for me and hasn't let me down so far. And yes sometimes I do need to take a break from watching anime for maybe a few hours/days/weeks because I like to marathon.
