Anime & manga preferences
Well, I recently reached a conclusion that the psychological series are just perfect for me. I love total brainwashing, all wierd and creepy stories. I think they are full of mysteriousness and they force the reader/viewer to think about the plot. I'm still considering watching Serial Experiments Lain again.
Although psychological anime are my favourite, I won't despise other genres. I always try to watch every episode and read every chapter to the end, even if it doesn't suit my taste. IMO good anime should have lots of action, dark vibes, meaningful storyline and expressive characters (like my favourite Death Note). I also like very much series that are close to reality (but not love stories :P) such as Genshiken.
Loads of good anime are out there to see... Fortunately ;].
