Well I agree with you about this seasons anime. I havent gotten to Penguindrum yet but its one of the ones I have the most hopes for. Usagi is the best of the season thus far.

Glad you agree on the blog, that original list enraged me so much when I saw it that I had to vent. I really am tired of Madoka too. I wanted to see it but since it was getting so much hype and all people do is vomit on how great it is and it ends up on the top of every list that seems to get posted now it has caused me to have a visceral hate reaction to it.

Well hopefully you will be around more! Miss the chats and rants about whats going on in the animu world. :P

Ah, Teshigawara! Now I remember! He's the Fuyutsuki stalker. I remembered Onizuka getting shot, but I had associated that arc with the school superintendent daughter, the one with a foot fetish. Same arc, but I'd forgotten the stalker's name.

SW wasn't bad I thought. I'd give it a 10 for the fanservice, a 5 for the "story", but I only really watched it for the fanservice to begin with so I think I was generous and gave it a 7.

Oh yeah, someone mentioned that spinoff in the MAL forums. I don't recognize the Teshigara arc so I'm guessing that it happens later in the manga?

Just finished GTO. Man, what an awesome series. I wish the ending wasn't as rushed as it was. But apparently the anime only really covered 1/2 of the manga? I can't believe they never produced a second season though. I'll have to go check out the manga.

Oh, they're pretty short movies too! For some reason, I was thinking each one was like 2 hours. I'll try to check at least one of them out this weekend. Maybe I'll get hooked into marathoning it, lol.

Oh yeah, the blonde girl with the dual colorered eyes? Yeah, totally wacko. I hated her at first... but now I love her after she turned to the good side. GTO is really good at twisting my love and hatred for characters.

Whoa, so is KNK one story told through multiple arcs throughout each movie? Sounds sort of like Higurashi arcs mixed with Haruhi's wacky episode order.

I wouldn't mind any fillers - since it's all hilarious. I gotta wonder if the creator of GTO didn't hate women or something. Man, all the girls in that school are crazy, crazy bitches. Way more psycho than any of the guy characters. GTO's a show I wouldn't mind seeing some studio remake with more modern artwork. It's a shame all the bishoujos look so cruddy. Although maybe the crappy animation makes Onizuka look even funnier. =P

Yeah, let me know what you think of KNK. I'm really curious about it.

Hmm I haven't watched Katanagari either, although I was interested in it earlier in the year. Although the initial tepid response sort of cooled me on it. But I might wait for that one to be mostly out as well. What's it's release schedule? Once a month for a year? Yeesh, that's a long time.

Hmm, I'm tempted to ask questions about DTNK, but I'll just watch it. Don't wanna ruin the mystery. =P

Have you ever watched the live version of GTO? I'm thinking I'll give that a shot after I finish with the anime. So, actually, did you think the 43 episode length was a good length? I'm 15 eps in and seems like he's running out of enemies to win over.

Yeah the length of movies always makes me want to put off watching it. Which doesn't make sense, since I'll gladly watch like 5 or 6 GTO episodes in a row. Even the GD Unicorn OVA I've held off on since it's 50 minutes long. I might actually just wait until that's been completely released and marathon it. There's nothing I hate more than waiting weeks or months in between episodes.

Have you watched the Kara no Kyokai movies? The plot descriptions sound like they'd be Higurashi-esque and the ratings have been really good so far.

It took me an episode to get used to how ugly the animation is, but GTO is the greatest class EVER!
