Haven't played my 360 since getting an easy 1000/1000 outta Naruto Storm 3. Don't plan on playing any more games of note on it again. All that's left are co-op cash-in titles (GoW4 & Saints Row 4). There's no more JRPGs (last one was Vesperia?...), or CyberConnect2 titles left, so fuck it. DONE!... kinda.

Been playing a PSP since Fabio insisted on lending me his. Playing downgraded PS2 games on a TINY screen, or blowing them up on a large screen... ooooo, the joy.

I've already helpfully informed you that the PS3 is a technically superior console. I've also HELPFULLY informed you that that's a mute point when games are coded to be DVD-able, multi-platform pieces of shit. READ! It's nice an' all that the PS3 has AN ACTUAL JRPG exclusive on the horizon, jaja, but that exclusive is like years old--so old its sequel has been out in Japan FOREVER. Fuck exclusives that are that slow to release. And The Last of Us won't topple the interactive Walking Dead game in the emotion stakes, so fuck that, too.

I like how you decide you have no interest in anything before looking at interesting things. Communicating with you is akin to doing so with a senile parrot. Valk Chron is probably the best current gen JRPG, you have interest in Xillia... and you have no interest in it? Gawd... AND YOU PLAYED GOW1-3 AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN BINARY DOMAIN!? Farf off widya is all I can say.

Level-5 suckarse outside of Dragon Quest VIII, FYI. Everything they make is soulless pish. Still haven't even got around to trying White Knight. It's kinda-sorta annoying how they keep cashing in on the cream of the Japanese crop without truly making outstanding games. Even taking into account crazed Ghibli fanboyism, it's bizarre just how many people love Kunti--a game so boring it'd send brats to sleep.

..Oh, yeah, that's right: you mentioned having replayed Vesperia in ages past. I laughed at you for ending up with a lower score than me anyway. It's all coming back. Eh, as rubbish as FFXIII+-2 were, it made for a semi-decewnt way to blow over 100hrs whilst telling myself I was playing next-gen JRPGs. I'd picked up the SE release of FFXIII in ages past and FFXIII-2 for under a tenner sometime after, so it woulda been rude not to play both. Esp with LAURA BAILEY voicing the heroine of XIII-2. (Bailey drew me to NeverDead so, y'know...)

Achievement whoring was actually my downfall as far as points go. In my first playthrough (on hard, ofc) I'd fucked up a level-based achievement where you need to kill everything on a bus. No auto-aim. Messed up again on super-hard, so I lowered the difficulty without thinking and replayed. What this meant was, because the game was badly designed, I'd have had to do the whole thing over for a THIRD time. Quit right there.

The Walking Dead vwasn't enough of a game for me to even buy it, like Heavy Rain. The characterisation was solid - with a non-gangsta black guy lead; hence you liking it - but the choices made didn't influence or change anything nearly enough to warrant me playing it after YTing. Dunno if it's better than S2 of the TV series with that Shane/farm tension, though.

Psycho-Pass didn't have potential. Not really. It opening with two bishies having some kind of fateful eye contact made me expect little, right from the get-go. The show lost my interest when it clumsily tried to flesh out the supporting cast in the middle of the series with their own crappy episodes. I preferred the big-bad-bishie-villain puppet master nonsense other that.

I tried Terra ForMars solely on the basis for turning terraformers into 'Terror for Mars'--allowing for insight into what the series is about and just being cool. Its 20-page oneshot was a rather generic 'EVERYONE DIES' kinda deal. The first 3 chapters of the series proper had cockroach men kill the flat human characters. It's like a shitty Gantz; CGish monsters (cockroach men look silly) and all. Best thing about it is how it goes all manly-insect over insect superpowers... like, there's an ant with 50-times the strength of a cockroach, but the human fighting has an ant within him 100-TIMES stronger!!1!!!

Alright thanks for your insight, mango version it is then. Translations for the current stuff I'm reading has come to nearly a complete hault anyway, I have no excuses left. Also, what do you think of JJBA2012? It's almost over now and I'm still beating myself up for not checking out this series sooner. A lot of people were complaining about the quality of ep 22, but I think it's the best alongside ep 3, and I am pumped as shit to see Ultimate Cars going all Grandmaster Meio on everyone's asses for all of 24 minutes. (Or maybe it was Meio who went Ultimate Cars on Strider Hiryu?)

Sorry I can't help you with Dorohedoro, but I read all my manga online so I wouldn't know any good DL sites... Does 4chan's /rs/ board not bring anything up?

I guess it doesn't really matter which console you choose when exclusives are so few and far between, but abandoning 50000p for trophies is offensive, to me. Until the exclusive Tales games, the PS3 vs. 360 essentially came down to GoW vs. Uncharted. :/

You know, considering you talk of worthwhile PS3 exclusives and you haven't the Valkyria Chronicle anime(s) listed, I sure hope you picked it up. It's the best PS3 game no-one has ever played. I cannae believe fanwank rubbish like Ni no Kunti gets 100's of 5-star reviews when VC passed by largely ignored. OUTRAGEOUS!

Iuno if your 360 gaming trends carry over to your PSN account as I'm much too lazy to look you up. But if even over there you're all 'Halo 4, GTA IV, Resident Evil 5, Ass Creed 3, etc' then you REALLY should start playing some new IPs. I told you about Binary Domain playing like GoW and being pretty damn great and you scoffed at that, like with Asura's Wrath. The ignorant sheepism of the masses does irritate...

Like you, a true pointwhore, didn't have to look-up achievements for, say, Vesperia and its random boss battle points secret shit. I was playing FFXIII-2 recently and it had stupid hidden achievements, like 90p for capturing a silver tonberry, with no hints. It's IMPOSSIBLE to pointwhore, more often than not, without guides. WTF are you on about with regards to Maxy 3, tho?...
