Screw the MAL rating descriptions here is how my current ratings are:
8-10 are stuff I would watch and consider worth rewatching in most cases.
5-7 are the average stuff that I find and enjoy.
3-4 are stuff that would make me consider watching something else since there's still 5 billion anime out there.
1-2 are stuff that I wouldn't even bother watching if I knew what I was getting in to.
In short, 1-5 are bad, 6-10 are good (for me), with occasional exceptions in 5s.

The fandom is harsh, retarded, and fickle. That's just how it is.
In the very least, it's important to Dirk, and I love Dirk. He's a great kid. A whole LOT of stuff is getting shaken up it seems. Poor Alphas. I'm kind of nervous as to how the Betas will handle puberty once they're together. Because they haven't even all been in the same area together yet.
Ouch. That blows man. I've been lucky enough not to be reminded of too much other than that Dave is basically me. Jane is NOT in a good mood right now. She even snapped at Roxy..

I just finished re-reading Maison Ikkoku yesterday, and I can't believe I ever gave it any score other than a 10.
It's pretty much the greatest romantic comedy ever.
In other news, Hussie is sinking DirkJake. I didn't hate the ship, but it sure is fun perusing Tumblr and seeing people in agony. Mostly because those shippers in particular were pretty obnoxious. I've resorted to schadenfreude, it seems. This is what happens when canon ships = doomed and HS's writer is satan. The fandom still kind of annoys me, because now they seem to be siding with Jane, even though all she was to them before was someone "in the way of DirkJake"

The fact that the first thing the fandom reacts to is ships becoming canon has really started to annoy me, honestly.
Completely ignoring the fact that you know... Gamzee is honking in the fucking vents right over their heads. I mean I don't really think he's going to kill either Rose or Kanaya but still.
Also Rose herself, as cute as it is to see her use emoticons and smile so much, she's acting REALLY unlike herself. It's kind of weirding me out. Not so much because she's drunk but because she GOT drunk. For a character that kept the tightest lid on her emotions out of all the Betas to be so vulnerable right now... it doesn't make sense. She scrutinizes things and keeps things under wraps. She doesn't get drunk and start spouting unchecked. But she... is doing exactly that? She specifically alchemized booze to drink it? umm just kind of weirded out here yeah.

I realized I couldn't stick with ponies when I couldn't pick a favorite character (and I don't like the cast enough to simply say "Everyone") and that the show really isn't much. I feel that the fandom sort of blew it up, which is saying a lot because it's not often I used the word "overrated."
Homestuck seems interesting though; I might buy one of the books some time.
