About nine years ago I was sitting with my little sister in front of the television, idly watching whatever happened to come on the screen. Suddenly, a woman dressed totally in black, with a long red and black cape came darting onto the screen chasing down some sort of troll-like creature. She was awesome.
This was my introduction to anime (or part anime, anyway). After this came the usual Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, Digimon, Gundam Wing, Monster Rancher, Cardcaptors, Escaflowne, ... etc. If it was made in Japan, I watched it.
2008... I haven't changed much, except that I avoid dubs like the plague.
