Haha, figured you enjoy him.
It's pretty good, it's got a strong romance story to it as well... it was just a surprisingly good series for me that season.
I'm late responding, you've probably finished the series now.... how'd it change your thoughts about the second season?

What? No mention of the slight BL undertone? XD
I'm hoping there is a third of that and Tetsuwan Birdy Decode... their seasons have been out at the same time. I'd rec that series once you are finished with Natsume Yuujinchou if you are looking for another good series. Though this one is a sci-fi action series.

It probably will, there was a bit of history with some of the characters... things you might not get without seeing the earlier episodes. Hopefully seeing the first season will let you give it a 10. =]
I wish more people would watch it as well, it's truly a masterpiece. I'm hoping a third season will be made, if not I'll have to read the manga... which won't be bad, the anime follows it pretty well, but the art isn't as nice.
No problem, I'm always happy when people enjoy a series I love.

I've just been distracted by games actually. That and when I sign onto the boards I just can't seem to find anywhere I want to post.
Luckily you don't miss out on too much watching the second season first. You basically just miss out on character introductions. I'm glad you like it, it's definitely a favorite of mine. =]
