One day, without warning, a huge hole appeared in the world. And from it emerge many demons. The King decided that the Demon King, Rchimedes, who was sealed by the hero, Creasion, 1000 years ago, must have been revived and sent the hero's 75 "descendants" to defeat the Demon King - The narrator tells us the introduction of Senyuu in a serious tone however how it's pictured is different and hilarious.
Senyuu also have several references to popular videos and games such as the man who "reacted" to the Scary Maze game. Though, it's not the best laughs you can get out of an anime, but
...
it's still very solid; Senyuu was entertaining from the very first episode till the last and you may even wished that the series was longer. Character development is lacking - from a 5 minute, comedy series, that was expected.
While lacking a unique(and serious) storyline, Senyuu offers great sense of humor together with funny, and likable characters. If you're looking for an anime with short laughs, plenty of random moments and set in a fantasy themed world, then Senyuu is a fine option.

"Everyday was the same. Deep down, I felt bored. I wanted to blame someone for my being bored." - Kanda Sorata
The very first line in the anime coming from the protagonist himself. Frankly, I felt exactly the same after watching the first dozen episodes of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. J.C. Staff, a studio which animated numerous titles such as Toradora, Zero no Tsukaima, Toaru Majutsu no Index, now it's Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo or in English, 'The Pet Girl of Sakurasou'.
Story? Kanda Sorata was told to move to a place called Sakurasou, a dorm where the problem students dwell in. One day, Shiina
...
Mashiro, a genius, moves to the Dorm. And so, Sorata's dorm mates given him the task to take care of Mashiro. So there ya go. You can probably predict the outcome of the show before you even watched it.
Sakurasou is a somewhat-more-than-generic romance/comedy anime. So, what are the common features of rom coms? Generic protagonist lives alone, story set in high school, extraordinary female protagonists, transfer students, probability of the transfer student living next door, childhood friends, imoutos having brother complex, beach episodes, protagonist is a chick magnet and lots of other distinctive features. It's those shows where you watch simply because you're too bored. Sakurasou is no exception.
However, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo is slightly more different than the usual. While it does have most of the features mentioned, but this time the protagonist lives in a dorm, filled with problem students and Sakurasou have a slightly better plot...and I guess that's pretty much it.
Since it's a romance/comedy anime then you're expecting some humor. Regrettably, the "comedy" part is appalling. Sakurasou provides the viewer with lots of humor throughout the series, but none of them were hilarious. All in all, Sakurasou fails to be entertaining in terms of humor.
In most cases, ecchi scenes and fanservice in these kind of anime are tolerable, as long as there are few but if too many, it affects the quality of the show. Indeed, I knew there were going to be ecchi in the series, but Sakurasou has more than expected.
Finally, it's the story. Sakurasou starts off as boring, tiresome, especially the beginning and it may also be the biggest flaw of the anime. Brace yourselves, because boredom strikes very early. The starting episodes may give a bad first impression to the viewer and some may even stop watching the series solely because of that. Sakurasou is one of the few anime I've watched that left a terrible first impression.
However, once you've covered the dull early episodes, at one point Sakurasou eventually starts becoming more intriguing later on(if it ever does for you). Personal point of view: I might have enjoyed Sakurasou more if it only had 12 or 13 episodes, not with 24 episodes. Why? for me, it starts becoming more interesting roughly at episode twelve. Some of the characters' past were interesting to watch such as Shiina Mashiro's however the enjoyment only lasted for couple of minutes. Sakurasou did have some memorable moments; both happy and sorrowful, but most of them were in the middle or near the end of the series. Luckily, the ending was pretty decent. Not the best ending I've seen, but still it's ok.
Character? I'll show you in a list.
These are the characters who dwell in Sakurasou Dorm.
Scores are out of 5. Lowest(1) being Hated. Highest(5) being Loved.
Kanda Sorata:(1/5) Boring male protagonist; essential in most rom coms. Now, only more irritating.
Shiina Mashiro*:(3/5) Female protagonist. Neutral.
Aoyama Nanami:(3/5) The common tsundere type. I feel sorry for her at the end of the series.
Mitaki Jin:(3/5) Looks like he lost his virginity years ago.
Kamiigusa Misaki:(2/5) Energetic, noisy type.
Akasaka Ryuunosuke:(3/5) A Hikikomori.
Chihiro Sengoku:(3/5) Dorm teacher of Sakurasou.
A couple of supporting characters.
Kanda Yuuko:(1/5) She has brother complex. I'm not surprised. Most of the imoutos nowadays have brother complex anyway.
Rita Ainsworth:(3/5) Kawashima Ami...is that you?
From the list above, any scores below 3 means they're disliked. None of the characters were interesting. Of course, all of the scores above are just my opinion. Though, it's nice to see character development going on.
*In some of the scenes, Shiina Mashiro really reminded me of Akemi Homura, a character which I really love in Madoka Magica. Perhaps the last two episodes of Madoka Magica are simply too memorable...
Art/Visuals? Overall, it's great. Colors are bright and artstyle is gorgeous. Backgrounds are nice and Shiina Mashiro's artwork are incredible.
Sound? Voice acting is pretty good(Sorata yelling almost every time is rather aggravating). OP and ED are all J-Pop themed songs and I've only bothered to listen to them once. I do like J-pop songs, but only selected ones. There's some very beautiful background music being played during the sad scenes.
Conclusion? Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo isn't the worst rom com I've watched and its far from being the best. To sum up, it's pretty average, despite the number of flaws it has. Unfortunately, Sakurasou just didn't live up to my expectations. Not even close.

Rainbow : Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin - after watching episodes of this anime, one word kept coming to my mind. "Beautiful". This anime shows how beautiful friendship can be. Acts of selflessness, sacrificing oneself to help another, returning to that one special place - It's all present in Rainbow. It's a good mix of emotion, struggle and drama. Rainbow is one superb anime, regrettably, it's buried deep within the other numerous popular titles out there and I'm glad I found it(more like stumbled upon).
Story? Rainbow focuses on seven teenagers who are found guilty of committing crimes and are sent to a Disciplinary school/Reformatory. In reality,
...
it was Hellhole for them because they received very harsh treatment by some of the authorities to the point where they got thrashed by a group of hired thugs and received a lot of unnecessary punishment, though not all of the main characters suffered the same exact punishment. The story takes place in 1955, a decade after the end of the Second World War. During that time, Japan in it's state, still rebuilding its cities after the war and corruption is common.
Speaking of plot, it can be rather predictable sometimes. Characters' "motives" are predictable as ever too. What's very common in anime are that you can tell who's evil and who's not; Especially, when one of those anime characters who always had their eyes shut, suddenly they open their eyes and with a wide silly grin across their face obviously tells you that they are up to no good. It often shows that their intentions are usually bad too. But even with that, with lots of edge-of-seat action scenes, plenty of sorrowful moments, plot twists and memorable acts of friendship - Rainbow's overall storyline is top notch.
Character? Rainbow have a nice cast of main characters each with an interesting backstory. The seven protagonists of cell six each have their own unique personalities. Also, Character development is good. For example, Mario Minakami. In the start, He was weak and sometimes talks big but with help in the later episodes, he becomes a badass. The MCs are initially hostile towards each other but soon after they start helping out they quickly become friends. My favourite character in the series is Sakuragi Rokurouta: a young man with a boxing talent. He's also the oldest, strongest and acts as the leader out of the seven. With all that, Sakuragi Rokurouta is a man worth respecting.
Sound? The Opening theme is extremely good because I like these kind of songs: the Rock/Metal genre. Opening theme "We're not alone", sung in English by Japanese Band Coldrain was epic. Not only that the opening theme was awesome, but its also very fitting for the anime. The ending theme, wasn't entirely great, still I don't think its too bad. Also, whenever one of the protagonists gets serious, a distinct background music kicks in. Voice acting was brilliant but I find the English voice overs of the American characters sound a little weird.
Art/Visuals? The overall visuals passable. I think the dark/gloomy art style and colors really does suit the anime. However, Viewers who constantly had been watching anime with bright visuals might find Rainbow's visuals repulsive. Amusingly, all the evil characters in the series look so hideous. Characters' hair colours are natural; colours that naturally exist in real life: black, dark brown, blonde, etc. No, I don't hate the colorful hair that exist in anime, but the natural hair colors gives a more realistic feel.
Conclusion? Rainbow is an anime with an inspiring story and have many likeable characters. However, some people may find Rainbow's art style unappealing, but even you don't like that, you should at least give it a try. But for fans of thriller/Drama or anyone looking for a good anime of its genre, it's a must watch.

Magi: the labyrinth of Magic's first few episodes were pretty good; it was cute, funny, charming and awesome. Sadly, it didn't stayed like that for the whole series. For the first half of the series, 1-13 was at pretty watchable. The second half was the main weak point of the anime; all those cute and funny moments disappeared on the second half (14-25), and the ending wasn't that great. Though, it was a happy ending, but still, it was a crappy happy ending.
Story? Story is pretty good, Aladdin, a Magi meets a young boy, Ali Baba an Aladdin helps him fulfils one of
...
his dreams; completing a dungeon. Then comes my favourite character in the anime, Morgiana. After completing the dungeon, she was set free from slavery with the help of Aladdin and Ali Baba. After all that dungeon-exploring in the first few episodes, Aladdin soon goes alone into different territories and the main topic of discussion was, War. War always sprouted from hatred. War is main topic of the entire series. Though, most of the excitement starts fading away when it was in the Balbadd arc; it's not bad, but it's at least, watchable.
Main focus in the Balbadd arc was Ali Baba and his friend Kassim. Flashbacks start appearing in the series, Ali Baba's and Kassim's past begins to unravel. These flashbacks weren't too bad, I found it pretty interesting to watch. The action scenes in this arc becomes a pretty boring. Surprisingly, there was a filler episode about Sinbad and one of the Princesses of Kou somewhere later in the series; and yes, it was pretty boring, and most importantly, pointless. I think, the whole story of the anime strayed far off from the manga's point of view somewhere in episode 20, or probably even earlier than that.
A-1 Pictures is starting to make a name for itself(or they already had) for making terrible original endings. First anime I've watched from the same studio (as far as I can remember), was Ao no Exorcist, and yes it had a lot of potential to become a great anime, though its biggest flaw is its ending. The studio's biggest mistake has always been the same: starts off good in the first half, terrible second half, then accompanied with a terrible original anime ending. What happened to Ao no Exorcist, also happened to Magi - Labyrinth of Magic. I guess, history really does repeat itself.
Characters? Magi uses characters from the Arabian nights, making them look more awesome than the actual person from the stories. For example, take a look at Ali Baba in the original Ali Baba and the forty thieves tale. and try comparing it to the Ali Baba in the anime. Look how they awesome they become. My favourite character is Morgiana, a tough chick. First 20 episodes, I watched Magi because of the plot. Then after that, I felt that the plot became somewhat rushed and strayed off from the Manga. So in the later episodes, I watched Magi mainly just because of Morgiana. Also, Aladdin and Ali Baba are both likeable main characters.
Sound? The opening and Ending theme were so-so, and the voice-acting were pretty awesome. But the background music was very epic, especially during the fighting scenes.
Visual? Though, its visuals are pretty good, but not always. The quality of visuals sometimes end up looking pretty bad, where characters faces look somewhat different. But overall visuals are decent.
Conclusion? Though, I find Magi to be very awesome in the earlier episodes but somewhat boring in the later episodes, so I find it a little difficult for who recommend it to. obviously enough, if you like prefer the shounen/action genre, Magi is definitely a good choice. Though, it's definitely not recommended for everyone.

Maria Holic Alive is the sequel to the above-average anime, Maria Holic. To be honest, I was very surprised that the anime even had a sequel. I decided to watch this because I was hoping that it would be better than the original. In the end, it was better. But only by a tiny amount. The sense of humor in this sequel was slightly better. I laughed to several of the funny, illogical moments that the series provided.
Story? Maria Holic Alive, takes place few months after the protagonist, Miyamae Kanako's transfer to the Catholic all-girls high school Ame-no-Kisaki. From there onwards, the "story" continues. Again
...
and again, in nearly all of the episodes, the narrator keeps on stating that Kanako is allergic to men, which I found rather irritating. Kanako's crazy, super nosebleeds also continues. There were also some parodies from anime Infinite Stratos, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and probably some anime which I do not know. Well, just as expected, there's still no hint of "real" romance throughout the show. This season also had more ecchi scenes than before. Still, it's nothing too serious.
The series also introduced a few new characters. But, they did not play a major role in the show. Pretty much just more supporting characters which I particularly did not find interesting.
The visuals? They are still impressive as ever. It still looks beautiful as it was in the original. So, thats a good thing.
Sound? The opening and Ending theme were terrible, for me. I dont know, maybe they were not the types of songs I would listen to. The OP and ED in the first Maria Holic were far more superior. Though, the background music in some of the scenes are still pleasantly good to listen to.
Conclusion? Though, I did find this sequel to be a bit more better than the original, in terms of humor, but there were also drawbacks such as the awful OP and ED, sadly, which were more superb in the first Maria Holic. In the end, I only recommend this sequel to people who loved the original Maria Holic. If you're looking for comedy anime, go watch something else instead.

Attracted by one of the main character of Maria Holic to watch the series, the infamous Mariya Shidou, only to know that he was actually a crossdressing guy was a heartbreaking moment for me.
After the first few episodes of Maria Holic, a comedy/parody/drama anime, I got rather bored. At least 50% of the humor presented in the anime wasn't really that funny, sure it did make me smile or grin for a few times in some of the scenes but there were only handful of scenes that actually made me laugh.
I was planning to drop the series entirely after first few episodes, but then
...
what made me continue to watch was the number of episodes it had; 12.
So in the end, I then completed the whole series in one sitting. Took me about 4-5 hours to complete the entire series. In those hours, just a couple of scenes were memorable for its funny moments and most of them were pretty much forgettable. Also, watching Miyamae Kanako, the protagonist, nosebleed due to her perverted fantasies was hilarious, but only for few times. After watching it too many times, the humor gets pretty old.
The story? Miyamae Kanako transfers to a all-girls high school in order to find her true love. So she first meets up with the crossdressing boy Mariya Shidou then instantly falls for his charms. In fact, Kanako is actually allergic to men; she gets hives whenever she is touched by men. So? It's one of those anime with lots of random "what the flying fuck?" moments. So if you're looking for anime with good story, well, you can simply forget about it, cause this anime dont have any. So you're probably expecting ecchi scenes? There are ecchi scenes but only very little. Romance? Quite a lot. But all of the romance are often just within Kanako's perverted fantasies. So don't expect any "real" romance in this anime. And actually, I was hoping that Kanako was going to "end up" with a girl of her dreams...but she didn't, so that was quite saddening. Again, no romance here.
The visual? "Why do many above-average anime have very good visuals?" That was the first question that came to my head after watching the first couple of episodes. Yes, I have to say that the visuals of Maria Holic is absolutely beautiful. Beautifully drawn artwork and visuals deserves a praise.
But what surpised me was the studio...SHAFT? I thought the studio was well-known for it's continuously changing visuals(the faces of characters usually changes in some of the scenes that they look like someone else). I recalled the anime Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica which was from the same studio, but then that anime had so many "derp" faces. Maria Holic's visuals, in terms of quality (no derp faces detected), are far more superior.
The Sound? Another strong point of the anime is the songs, both the Opening theme(Hanaji) and Ending theme(Kimi ni Mune Kyun) are pretty catchy songs. Especially, the Opening theme(Hanaji). If I had to describe the Opening theme with one word, I would go for "Unique". It felt very weird watching it for the first time but then I wanted to watch it every time in all of the episodes. The background music in the episodes were really good too, some nice guitar riffs presented in some of the scenes.
Conclusion? So is Maria Holic actually watchable? For me, it was ok, but definitely not for everyone. If you're looking for anime with lots of random, nonsensical moments, then Maria Holic is a decent choice. If you're looking for an anime with lots of good humor, well, there are many better options out there.

Sword Art Online (SAO) was one of the most anticipated anime of 2012. To be brutally honest with you, I waited so bad for this anime's release. I had even set up my desktop background as a SAO picture before the anime was even aired! In the end, my expectations were severely shattered; Sword Art Online...is not that great. The reason why I thought Sword Art Online was going to be a very good anime, is by looking at the whole concept of the story:
"In the near future, a Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online has been released where
...
players control their avatars with their bodies using a piece of technology called Nerve Gear. One day, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. However, if they die in the game, they die in real life. Their struggle for survival starts now..."
I mean, doesn't that sound so interesting? It sounded like no anime I've ever watched before, well thats as far as I can remember it (P.S I've heard of .hack series, but I've never watched it.)
Anyway, I'll just continue to ramble about how "good" the anime can get...
The first few episodes wasn't that bad, It was satisfactory. But not superb. It was episodes which I could still expect a lot in the next coming episodes of the series. But then at one point, the fun and joy quickly fades, and boredom starts kicking in. The whole MMO-style action which I thought was a cool and unique idea at first; characters have life-bars, levels, experience and all that Online RPG type stuff, but then in the end, nearly all of the battles are a total bore, uninteresting and dull. At one point, I'd nearly fell asleep watching one of the episodes!
The more episodes I watch, the more boring the whole series gets. Even my friend who've continuously told me to continue watching the series promising that it'll be good(He's a total SAO fanboy), didn't help me to continue watching this anime. Even the amount of hot anime girls(There's a lot!) didn't help me to continue watch the anime. Seeing the protagonist, Kirito, defeating his enemies with one-hit moves gets old very quickly. The story also is quite shallow.
The romance part? The relationship between Kirito and Asuna (Sorry if this was considered as a spoiler to you) was quite unrealistic. They met one day, form a "dungeon party"(its something quite common in Online RPGs, you should google them for your sake if you don't know) to kill a powerful dungeon boss. They were victorious, Kirito's party defeated the dungeon boss. He then left the party and suddenly few years later in the game, Kirito and Asuna met each other again. Suddenly, They fell in love. This is why I've found the whole romance between them to be quite unrealistic.
The two good things I've found in the whole series? Both the opening theme and ending theme songs are very, very good. "Crossing Field" sung by Lisa is probably one of the best Opening theme I've listened in 2012. The second good thing is the art and graphics are splendid. The art and coloring of the whole anime is nice. The soft but bright coloring of the art leaves a nice pleasant feel to the eyes.
Final Verdict on Sword Art Online? One Word: Maybe. SAO might work for you but It didn't for me. But do you know the number of Sword art online fans exists today? There's helluva lot! So..in my opinion, you should, at the very least, give SAO a try. I know I stopped watching the whole series at just the 14th episode, but I don't think continuing is going to help, so I'll stop watching the series while I'm still sane.

Love big explosions and bombs? Yes! Love hot schoolgirls? Hell yeah! Love blood and gore in anime? Not really, but its alright. Now combine them altogether. The end result you get BTOOOM!! Of course, what people is looking for, is a good story, 'fraid to say that BTOOOM!!'s story doesn't sound that bad at first sight; 22-year old Ryouta Sakamoto finds himself playing his favourite online game...in real life fashion. Anyway, I'll try my best not to include spoilers in this review. This anime is all about survival and action.
Honestly, the whole concept sounds a little Battle Royale-ish, but after watching the entire series
...
of 12 episodes, It wasn't that great. It's not that bad either. Let's just say that, the story is somewhat rushed in a way, and also I still can't quite get Let's start by first talking about the characters. The characters consists of commoners of varying age forced to play a online game recreated in a real life situation. However, 90% of the characters were pretty ugly, to be honest. Not saying that all anime should consists of hot and perfect-looking characters, but still most of the characters in this anime had annoying attitudes and few were made to look so ugly just to be killed.
The biggest problem? Most of the explosions aren't "realistic". You see, in one episode, a man died a horrible death due to a bomb that detonated right below him. And then, in another episode, another person survived the exact same bomb type that detonated close behind him. How the hell did he survive a huge explosion that close? Not only that, he survived with having few minor burns. Totally unrealistic. Probably just a way to keep the "important" characters alive throughout the show.
Another minor problem I have; its about the protagonist. Well, he's pretty alright though, but then, how he can "predict" and tell whats going to happen next is so...amazing. Almost like he has some kind of psychic power. It's like most of his plan always goes according to it. It's like he can tell what the enemy is going to do next; its like he can read their minds or something.
The types of bombs used in the series have unique designs, especially the implosion-type bomb. But few of the bombs were so underused, for example, as far as I can recall, there was only one character that had a certain type of bomb that no other players had. I won't spoil what type of bomb and which character had that type. If they made some really unique bomb designs, why not make use of them? Also, the main concept of the anime is bombs, so there's no other weapons besides them. So, if you like Guns or Swords, you'll probably won't find BTOOOM! that interesting.
The art and graphics? are actually quite stunning. The 3D-effects for some of the bombs looks superb at the very least, and the environment looks nicely polished. Nothing much to complain about the art and graphics. Character art and designs also look great. For example, Himiko's clothing design. The army-camo colored skirt and tie does look awesome. But it still makes me wonder how'd she got hold onto it and why she wearing it before she got sent to the island.
The Sound? The Opening theme, No Pain, no game is over-the-top and I always loved listening to it. The ending theme in my opinion, isn't really my type though. Since music genre is from one's personal view, so I only listened to the ending theme once and never again. Hint - There's a 2nd opening theme saved for the last and in my opinion, it's way better than the first opening.
Final verdict? Overall, BTOOOM!! does have its good parts in most of the series, but it's still a little half-baked.In the end, I was rather disappointed after watching the whole anime since BTOOOM!! have A LOT of potential of becoming a great anime, the reason why 'cause I really like Battle Royale-ish shows/anime/movie. But in my opinion, if you do like action-genre or survival of the fittest-type anime, why not just give BTOOOM!! a try? Who knows, you might actually like it more than I do.

Angel Beats!- This anime has "it"....Almost.....
Angel beats! story is about angels battling in the afterlife. A group of students are fighting angels for their future, if they don't do anything, they will all disappear. Their only enemy is "Tenshi"(meaning angel). Even when she is alone, she's too superpowered. Moving on to the review...
Story- Ok, honestly, I really still couldnt understand 100% of the entire story even after rewatching the episodes. So, I thought I might be a bit slow(yes, I am a bit slow) but even after several times of watching the same episodes over and over again, I still couldnt understand. So, the only
...
thing I can conclude from this is that, the producers havent done full explaination of some of the parts, leaving "holes" in the story(and in my brain) just like Swiss cheese. Even the first episodes left many holes not fully explained. This kept on going on and on too. Some of them were explained in the later episodes but some holes still remains. And since, the members of the group called SSS (Shinda Sekai Sensen) have all actually died, which is why they are there in that world, the whole anime only revealed few of the members' pasts and how they died. I wished they revealed more of the pasts as I am pretty curious right now. The anime's story would really been a lot better if its properly explained. A REALLY botched opportunity. An did I mention that watching this some of the episodes really reminds me of Suzumiya Haruhi? The heroine(Yuri) does look like Haruhi though. The anime had a pretty nice ending though.
STORY- 6 out of 10.
Art- The art is really amazingly detailed, the nice shine and light effects in the first episode are really impressive. This section is nearly flawless. Only sometimes some of the characters didnt really look like their usual self.
ART- 9 out of 10
Sound- OP and ED are both nice, and even their very own made "Girls Dead Monster" band really makes some good songs. I recommend listening to "Crow Song" and "Shine Days".
SOUND- 9 out of 10
Character- The characters are really nicely made, I really like Shiina's character. Nothing much to say here.
CHARACTER- 8 out of 10.
Enjoyment- Most of the enjoyment came from the hilarity of most of the episodes. Even when the story is pretty botched, but still this anime has some excellent humour. Humour is a "pro" in my review.
ENJOYMENT- 7 out of ten.
Overall- Angel beats! is a good anime, yes honestly, but what are the producers are going to do about the holes? This anime needs some "patching" aka Explaination. Hope there is going to be a 2nd season. Angel beats! should be really recommended to comedy lovers.
OVERALL(Mean score of the above 5 sections)- 8 out of 10.

-------------------
Toradora!= Another normal romance/drama anime involving high school...We had many anime of this kind. In fact, these type of anime are very common nowadays. I had watched this type many times, but mostly ended up so wrongly.
But this time, Toradora! is done the right way. Yup, I ended up loving this "normal" anime. Story involves two high-schoolers, a normal guy, and a short girl....Now where have I heard that from? Many anime had this kind of story. Yup, It kinda gives me feelings of Deja Vu-ness. This time its done the way I like it. On to the review....
Story-
...
Involves a ordinary guy named Ryuuji Takasu and a short and short-tempered girl named Aisaka Taiga. This reminds of Saito and Louise from the Zero no Tsukaima series. Where the protagonist always gets beaten up by the girl, yeah those type. And more strangely, most of these short anime girls are always so strong or feared by many..thats Taiga a.k.a Palmtop Tiger. While Ryuuji only looks scary, but in reality, he's pretty harmless. OK~ enough of that...Why only a 7 for the story? Its pretty common..and its very predictable. I knew Ryuuji would end up with Taiga even just by looking at the cover art without watching the anime!. So obvious, so predictable, which makes it a bit boring. This flaw is common in many romance/drama anime, but its quite annoying. Story have a very good pace but it took quite a while for both of the hero and heroine to fall in love. Yup, they fell in love...but it took so long! But that's a good thing right? haahha- well~ those are the flaws I found here. Story= 7 out of 10.
Art- Graphics are rather unusual but very good..which I would say, Graphics are unique, that's for sure. Good graphics should receive a good score!
Art= 9 out of 10.
Sound- The anime had 2 OP and 2 ED...1st OP was...strange. Same goes for the 1st ED. But the 2nd? Both the 2nd OP and ED are both awesome~. The 2nd OP tells Ryuuji and Taiga's "love" arc is going to start. Don't get any wrong ideas. XD
Sound= 9 out of 10.
Character- All characters are uniquely made...Yup, especially Taiga and Minori. Minori had a very funny attitude which I loved. Awesome characters, awesome score.
Character= 10 out of 10.
Enjoyment- I enjoyed every single episode there was, some were very memorable but few are forgettable. I personally, enjoyed every minute of the anime which included comedy, parodies, romance, and some parts were very sad. Sad, but not as sad as Ef- Tale of memories. Toradora! can make you have "watery eyes", but Ef probably can make you cry. Beyond Awesome enjoyment.
Enjoyment= 10 out of 10.
Overall= Toradora! is not really recommended for everyone to watch, but Its highly recommended for fans of Romance/drama/comedy anime with a bit of sadness. If you bought it, its worth every penny. Anyone looking for some romance, then this could be your answer to that question. If you watch it online, its worth every minute and if you downloaded it, its worth every bits of data.
OVERALL= 10 out of 10. Really loved it.
