I've only seen Futari wa, Max Heart and Suite. I stopped Smile after episode 13 or so. No idea if I'm gonna start back. And yea, the whole monster-of-the-week thing got repetitive and it felt like the show was going nowhere.
I haven't watched Precure in a couple months. I kind of lost any urge to watch Mahou Shoujo series so I can't say. Sorry.
Though if you are getting into it I recommend watching Smile Precure as it's on-going and was better than the others that I'd seen. Heartcatch is supposed to be the best PC out there though. Have fun.
