Yeah, I like to explain why I dislike something, especially since you asked me what opinion I have of it. Saying only "wft that anime is fail" doesn't make much sense (well, except for Lucky Star, ahem). And I don't hate Kuroshitsuji that much anyway. It just pisses me off sometimes for the reasons before said. :-P

Yes, there was 1 episode where Touga made Nanami believe that she has been adopted and they weren't blood related, but at the end of the same episode (talking with Akio, I think) he clearly said that they actually are brother and sister, he was just playing (that bastard).

Actually, I started Kuroshitsuji months ago desu. :-P I'm about to finish it (I'm around ep 17) because I can't stand it anymore, so I wanna get over it soon.
...What do I think of it, I wonder...
For some aspects, I like it. Thumbs up: gothic setting, London, gorgeous character design, shota eye-patched tsundere as the protagonist, supernatural plot, decent (but a bit insipid) music.
For other things, I hate it. Thumbs down: probably the most fangirl-oriented thing I've seen until now, too much pointless reverse fanservice (lol), bishounen lacking of personality, yaoi hints every minute, useless gay characters (Grell & Pluto) only there for comic relief, useless and crappy female cast, every episode is basically the same (=boredom), and Sebastian's catchprhase got tedious to me. :-|
And about you rec, it wasn't a critic, I was just pointing out.
I love the Shadow Girls too, they're so silly, yet funny.
If you're interested, since you love Utena so much, I can make you admin in her fanclub. I really don't have the time to keep it active, and you're a biggest fan of hers than me anyway.
Fufufu, yes, Hermione is a yandere desu. I don't remember the exact episode where she snaps, but it's great. You probably couldn't tell because you haven't watched that far yet.
And Montague is quite a big failure desu.
I can't complain about my mother, I just want her to be a little more active on judging what she watches, not only "so, you like Cowboy Bebop?" "*nods*". Oh well, I guess she's more of a older anime & shoujo/josei stuff after all (Candy Candy, Sailor Moon, Versailles No Bara, Nana, etc).
And lol @ your personal "Utena VS mom" match.
Mine only watched like, 10 minutes of it, and at the scene with Nanami, when I said "oh yeah, she's a yandere in love with her brother", she stared at me like "wtf O_o".

Watching the Baccano OAV after the anime is a must, they're great, and they complete the story desu.
Yeah, I know what Funimation is, more or less (I'm watching on streaming Requiem For The Phantom & Kuroshitsuji on their site).
Yes, I saw your rec of Utena & RxJ desu. You forgot to say that they both crossdress, too. XD
I'm quite indifferent towards both Utena and Juliet, to be honest. I don't dislike them, but I don't love them neither. I like them at the beginning of the anime, but then they start to get a bit boring. :-| In Utena, my favorites are actually Nanami, Juri, Wakaba, Anthy, and Shiori (no guys because they all suck lol). With Anthy, it happened the exact opposite than with Utena: I hated her at the beginning, I liked her towards the end.
That said, I'm admin (not exactly by my choice) in Utena's fanclub, lol.
Utena gotta be one of the weirdest anime ever, anyway. @_@

Hahaha, not a surprise desu. Everyone loves them. Don't get me wrong, I love them too, but my most favorites have to be Claire, Chane, Luck, Czes, and Fuey (& Firo, obviously). Even though basically everyone in Baccano is amazing desu. T_T Probably the greatest cast ever seen since Cowboy Bebop.
Only Juliet & Willy? I love Tibald and Curio the most, but also Francesco, Cordelia, and Hermione (yandere ftw).

My mom? She seems to like it. I can tell that it's probably the most mature anime she watched since Trigun. She agreed to watch it when I told her that our beloved God (Keanu Reeves) was going to play Spike in the movie. :-P
My mother is totally a fangirl for Versailles No Bara & Nana (she loved Death Note, too), but I'm glad I can make her watch almost any genre (except hentai/ecchi, obviously). I even taught her the meaning of trap, tsundere, etc.
Oh, and she was quite freaked out by Utena (mostly for the swords coming out of people & the incest factor, lol). XD

Well, they're completely different, but yeah, both are great desu. I gave RxJ a 8 & Baccano (the OAV, too) a 9, and I rewatched the both of them at least twice.

Which reminds me, I also rewatched RxJ dubbed (in Italian) twice, but the first time I watched it subbed. I liked both the Japanese & Italian cast desu.
Baccano sadly isn't licensed here. D: The Japanese seiyuu cast is amazing. Oh my Kira, talking about Baccano makes me want to rewatch it... again.
