I love Rumiko Takahashi and I love this so far. I have seen by her Maison Ikkoku, Ranma1/2 and Inu-Yasha. Every week I am dying to read the next chapter every Wednesday on Shoenm Sunday's website. Any of you who love Ranma1/2 and Inu-Yasha, you'll love this. Many of the chapters remind me of Inu-Yasha when Kagome was solving cases at her home in the presaent rather than thousands of cases and people to keep track of in the past where the story was more centered on (which, dare I say made it a little boring). Since this is more school-based, it also gives the Ranma1/2 feel with the slapstick and comedy (which is funny, as always). The main characters do take some getting used to (especially Sakura). She is, how you say, not your typical herione and is more calm than Kagome, Akane, and Kyoko (like she doesn't get insanely jealous). Overall the character are like this:
Rokoumon=Shippo (from Inu-Yasha)
Masako= Pantyhose-Tario (from Ranma1/2)
The Christan guy (what's his name that likes Sakura)= Ryoga Hibiki (from Ranma1/2)
and Rinne's grandma reminds me of Nabiki from Ranma1/2. Overall, the art, characters and story is a bit similiar, but still fun for all Takahashi fans (and adds a little more). I have read up to chapter 50 (I think), Keep it coming...^_^ read more
