Concordo con tutto ahah Jin-Rou è stata una bella scoperta! Quando lo vidi non sapevo nemmeno che dietro vi fosse la mano di Oshii :)
E' un peccato che leggi pochi manga, ti avrei consigliato sicuramente quello di Patlabor.

Praticamente la pensiamo allo stesso modo per quanto riguardo quest'opera :) oltre a quello che hai già scritto aggiungerei anche che i personaggi sono davvero unici e con personalità ben distinte tra loro, cosa non da poco e che ormai non riesco quasi più a trovare negli anime che stanno uscendo in questi ultimi anni...
Di Mamoru Oshii sono curiosa riguardo Angel's Egg, è uno di quegli OAV di cui dimentico costantemente l'esistenza e non so perché... ahah (hai anche visto Jin-Rou, una piccola perla :D)

Ti ringrazio :) Ho notato con piacere che hai visto molti titoli di Patlabor, è una serie a me molto cara.. ti manca praticamente solo il Reboot del 2016 ma, ovviamente, non è paragonabile alla serie originale. Semmai dovessi dargli un'occhiata mi piacerebbe una tua opinione in merito.

Per quanto riguarda l'interpretazione che hanno dato al nuovo Broly: direi che su questo punto sono rimasto soddisfatto, ma credo che avrebbero potuto fare di più.
Se da una parte ho apprezzato il suo nuovo background, dall'altro ho notato come non si sono voluti distaccare totalmente dal suo predecessore.
Questa sua furia incontrollata, a mio parere, era resa molto meglio nella vecchia versione, mentre qui ne abbiamo una versione completamente muta o limitata a qualche grida. Non che DBZBroly fosse un chiacchierone, certo, ma al confronto di questo sembrava quasi un oratore.

Ultima cosa, penso si sia perso un po' troppo tempo a far vedere le varie trasformazioni con la nuova grafica invece di menare le mani sin da subito, o meglio, sembrava quasi che la loro intenzione fosse proprio quella di fare sfoggio al pubblico della bontà grafica, dei disegni e animazioni, proprio mediante l'uso delle trasformazioni.

Vedo che ti è piaciuto molto DBSuper Broly, io oltre alla grafica veramente stupenda (tranne quando usavano la cg) non sono riuscito ad apprezzarlo molto, a te cos'è piaciuto?

I watch anime in English, and honestly I hadn't given much thought to changes in dialogue before that. Though I have noticed that some series pull the English dialogue off better than others. Panty and Stocking being a good example.

Has there been much media coverage over Bruno's death in Italy? Also what did you think of Wrestlemania this year?

Oh really? That's pretty cool. My main hobby is E-fedding for wrestling. Been doing that for the past decade, and the fed that I'm in is writing based. At least it helps to keep my creativity sharp. As for movies, I can't say that I'm particularly passionate about cinematography, but I respect the art form. The only film that I'm legitimately excited to see this year is The Meg, because I've been waiting 18 years for it.

What do you think about the dub vs sub debate? I watch dubbed anime mostly because English is my first language. If I understood Japanese fluently, then I'd watch anime raw without subtitles. But, I've heard people on both sides getting into the quality of scripts when it comes to dubbed anime. It's just not something that I've really thought about, but it is interesting.

I probably should just go ahead and plan to watch Revolutionary Girl Utena. I've heard nothing but good things about that series for years.

That doesn't surprise me at all. There used to be a number of strong European promotions, like Otto Wanz's CWA, which did good business during the 70's and 80's. WWE dominates most of the major foreign markets now. How well known is Bruno Sammartino in Italy? I can't imagine that he's on Santo's level in Mexico, but I'd imagine that he'd at least be a household name in many parts of the country.
