Aha I just noticed you were reading One Piece now! That's awesome! And you're further than me as well! xD It's really fantastic! I just finished the East Blue saga
It's really good because the main character's ability isn't something you generally see for a main character. Instead of being good at shooting like most sports anime, his ability is to disappear using misdirection because of his lack of presence. It's really great to watch. And he's really funny :D Give the first episode a chance
Lool I'm watching way too much if you see my Watching and On-Hold list, and I have all the anime dvds I own as well!
In terms of this season I have loads...
1) Sakamichi no Apollon - Director of Cowboy Bebop & Samurai Champloo and is about jazz music in the 60s and it was fantastic!
2) Tsuritama - Anime about 4 boys and fishing and it was so good! It seems like the type of series you will enjoy! Really vibrant! I suggest you watch this! My description wasnt that great.
3) Accel World - Based off a light novel series and is really really awesome! It's about virtual reality world and it had a great episode
4) Uchuu Kyoudai/Space Brothers - A story about space and two brothers who want to become astronauts and the younger brother does etc. It's a really good show so far and I think you will like it
5) Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna - This was really awesome. It's a show about a female thief. It had loads of nudity so be warned! But it was very entertaining to watch the cases and what would happen next! Very interesting stuff
Then there's also Medaka Box anime, Sankarea anime, Mysterious Girlfriend X anime which you don't need to watch but you can
But I seriously implore you to watch those 5 series and Kuroko no Basket asap! Most of them only have one episode so it's no biggie! :D
Oh and there's a KyoAni anime coming out soon called Hyouka
My manga list is not up to date yet, it's too much effort right now :P I'll do it in summer!

What new anime are you watching from this season then? There's a lot of good stuff! Watch Kuroko no Basket! I know you don't like sports series but give the first episode a try! It's got an amazing OST :D
And in terms of Fairy Tail, I'm on volume 9. But you know what has the most planning... ONE PIECE!! Things will come up that were referenced like 100 or so chapters before, it's unbelievable!

I'm loving the 2011 adaptation! It's so fast paced! I just hope they don't censor the gore because that is a huge part of the manga :D

lol in terms of anime, I've forgotten a lot of stuff that I have watched but I will try and add more as I remember them and with the manga, I've only added a 1/4 of what I am reading. Can't be bothered to add everything but I will do soon :) Too much effort xD
