Hello folks, This is my first time making a page/list like this so spare me a little :)
Little bit about me:
My name is laurens, but most people call me lorre or phoen. 1m86 tall, weight 78kg, short spikey brown hair, green eyes and some tatoo's over my body. Currently living with my father ,after having lived together with my ex-girlfriend, while looking for a place of my own. My earnings come from working fulltime as a waiter, wich means i work very long days and lots of hours during summer, and less during winter.
When not at work, i'm probably out for drinks with friends or behind my pc. I guess that about covers the basics, if you want to find out more just ask :)
Little bit bout "my otaku-lifestyle":
The first shows i watched where Dragonball and saint saya (although i didnt completely understand the french dubs, it was the only source on cable-tv at that time). Later i got a chance to watch things like tekkaman, gundam, kenshin and some others on with eng dubs on tv. To be honest i have not watched/read that much up untill i turned 22. At that point i started buying/watching/reading a bit of anime and manga. But i think it took 2 more years untill i fully gave into my ''otaku-lifestyle'', buying alot more of anime, manga, games and ofc Jpop.
As you might have noticed, the anime-part takes up the biggest part of my spare time. I watch fansubs to keep track of new series, but in most cases i end up ordering the dvd's anyway. With older completed series i usually wait till i can oder everything at once.
Whenever i'm driving arround Jpop is pouring from the speakers, but most of my friends/family and other casual passengers occasionally seem to enjoy it (wich reached a hilarious climax when some friends of mine tried to sing along with ''Haruka Kanata" from Asian Kung-fu Generation ).
Its also playing when i'm reading manga, but i dont spend that much time reading lately due to a serious lack of free time ( during the summer i can only keep track of some series i really like, but winter-season always brings about more free time so i'll be able to spend more time reading).
lastly gaming is more of a social thing for me, either playing online with friends or having some people over for some buttonbashing. I've tried some MMO's in the past but found them too time-consuming.
profile status:
My anime list is up to date atm and my manga list is coming next. After that i'll be taking a little break to learn proper fotoshop skills etc so i can liven my profile a bit :) So keep on visiting (and ofc dont forget to leave a message :D)
cheers phoentjah

Guess it wouldn't. But one not-as-good scene (especially in the last episode) will drop a mark on my MAL

Once Nia died, I saw Simon's end from a mile away.
Sure the last battle was symbolic, but symbolic and being too far-fetched (eg throwing universe at Gurren) is kinda a let-down to the epic-ness built over long journey

In TTGL, I reckon the whole thing is epic as hell! But the last fight was way too far-fetched and kinda let the rest of the epic-ness down...
Then Nia's death saved the episode, her death was just so sad >.<

I would say it's not epic enough. The 2 episodes doesn't have any cliffhangers either.
I like the idea so i'll still give it a chance. :)
