Don't get me wrong I don't hate the episode.
I was just mad with the pacing. They showed Ali right at the beginning and he doesn't come till the end. Now I have to wait till NEXT week for it. It sucks. I don't think Setsuna will be able to fight him. :(

OH MY FUCKING GOD
That's EXACTLY what I said. I said, "from what you and George have told me, the second season of Code Geass seemed like Gundam Seed Destiny". Mike replied, "You're an idiot, you have no idea what you're talking about". I FUCKING KNEW IT I'm never listening to Mike about anime ever again. His views change drastically from show to show and he contradicts himself at every turn.
He never went into great detail about the maid. He just made one or two statements about it saying it was pointless. Don't listen to him, he forgave the last 7 episodes of Utawareramono and gave it an 8 when it clearly deserved a 6 or lower because it was so bad. And suddenly the same thing happens in Geass and he flips out. You can't just accept it in one show and condemn another for doing the same thing. He doesn't follow logic, which is why I'm only going to watch anime that I think might be interesting from now on.

hahhahahaha imagine watching it with him in person. He wouldn't stop bitching. I did, however, agree with him on some things, and he agreed with me on others. lmfao he's a moron and I know anime better than him. I was like "Nunnally's still alive after the explosion, there's no way she'll die like that. Somehow she'll have made it out ok because this is alll contrived". He says, "No you're an idiot she's dead, that was a great twist. There's no way she made it out". A couple eps later when she was alive I laughed at him so hard and forced him to admit he was wrong and I was right.
Anyways, I feel that season one > season two. It had more emotional value. Season two started having plot twists just for the sake of having twists, at the expense of the story. They squaraned a lot of potential and things got ridiculous. Too many characters dying and coming back to life, too many betrayals with the same people switching sides over and over and OVER, too many people losing and regaining their memories, and too much of the pilots shouting ideological bullshit at each every other second.
Still, I think it's a 7 out of 10 and it's worth watching. I loved the first five eps it, they did a great job of explaining the end of the last season and setting up everything that was about to happen. Visually, I felt it's superior to season one with all the great new costumes and designs of the mechs. Very wonderful to look at. However, the character development and plot was lacking. They squandered a lot of potential.

Heh, working on it. I'm currently rewatching season one of Code Geass and I'm blowing through all of season two this weekend. Hopefully, it'll be an awesome run.

Taking a break at 7am from accounting studying...lets see, "Tower of Druaga" was cool but short. You would definitely laugh during the first episode. A sequel is coming in 09...oh we got the "Tale of Memories" sequel out now. Thats goin to kick ass. OH this is retarded, I'm going to dl the last 5 eps of NHK in jap because apparently when Geneon or some shit went under they never finished the final release which is now due out in DECEMBER, so I'll just have to suffer through the subtitled version. so far its getting a 10. Starting and finishing Geass R2 this weekend. god , im on starbucks doubleshots and adhd meds right now, i think my heartrate is WAY too high. oh well back CRAZY CRACKOUNTING, later
