Man Fight Club is some good stuff.
It's easily one of the lightest and fluffiest anime ever, even K-ON can't comprehend how cute and nice Hidamari Sketch is. I think SHAFT did it to show that "hey, we can make borderline disturbing shows with insane amounts of mindfuck, but we can also make fuwa fuwa rainbow eye candy." I am gay for SHAFT. *badumtish*

Never heard of it... What language is it in?
My favorite is most likely The Shining, but One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, A Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, and The Social Network floow closely.
And the first season of Hidamari is rather slow and at times even dull. Don't let that fool you though, because the second season is just so incredibly good, and somehow the third was even better. It grows on you~ You also don't necessarily need to watch the first season to enjoy the second (the first episode of season two takes place before season one). I'd give it a second chance~
