I am a Student that has been watching anime for a long time and used to be a hardcore gamer although not so much anymore. These days would rather spend my time watching more anime rather then playing games.

The series is pretty cheap anyway (like $17 MSRP I think), but it's seriously one of my favorites. It doesn't really pick up properly until around episode 10 (or didn't for me at the time, although I was sold fairly early on) but after that...
Let's put it this way: I bought two copies of the first disc, and gave one to my library. That is how much I revere it.

I meant to say something yesterday and promptly forgot. Then I meant to say something today and also promptly forgot!
Unfortunately all I can really say is "watch more Simoun" which may or may not be what I SHOULD say but it is what I am GOING to say. I cherish my Simoun DVDs so much I keep forgetting to rewatch the series with them!
