I've been an Anime fan since I was in High School, but really didn't become a major fan of Anime till College. My current job is a teacher's aid for students with Autism and Aspergers. My first Anime Convention was Anime Central 2004 and have gone every year since, expect for 2006 due to the fact that I was still getting over the effects of Radation and Chemo treatments for Testicular Cancer. (I'm fine now been in remission since April/May 2006.)
The cosplays I've done are Dr. Ni Jenyi (Saiyuki), Mitsukake (Fushigi Yugi), random Nekomata, Pocky Zombie, End of the world Samuari Santa, and Yanagisawa ( Megatokyo),
I post on the Acen Forums as Mock-Kappa, while on other sites I can be found under Onenuttytanuki or Angilas83.
Besides Anime/Manga, my hobbies included crytozoology, Drawing, Kaiju films, Folklore, and trying to enjoy life.

99% of what is listed in Completed in my Anime list I have on DVD.
I also currently have an account on http://www.swaptree.com. Most of what I have up for trade are titles that I already have or just didn't think was as good as I thought it would be.

When I not doing things that can be considered Anime, Manga, or geek related, I work as one-on-one Teacher's Aide for students with special needs (mainly Autism, Aspergers, ADD, and ADHD).
Which is why With the Light is listed in my Manga Favorites. Because I've found it helpful during certain moments of my job.

But first, I think it's important to work out the logistics of getting it approved before worrying about the content of the event itself. I never thought bingo as gambling since it conjures of the elderly playing it and it being so easy even kids can play it right away. I guess it is gambling since it involves more chance than skill, but then then it's not like it involves money. Anyhow, I'm for it. Reply

The exchanged-in-for-bingo-card anime items are amassed before each game and so the winner gets to pick a prize. What happens to those remaining unpicked items in the end? Reply

Spiked_Vash | 08-20-08, 6:45 PM That sucks that the swap meet isn't going to happen, but I guess it makes sense. Like suggested, we can always create threads, setting up an offsite swap meet meetups, on acen forum as acen 2009 gets closer. The meetups can be close to Acen 2009 weekend. I guess I'll go over to swaptree to check it out. At least we gave a good effort to make the swap meet onsite happen. Reply

I went b/c of its anime programming (even though it's small) and I miss that con feeling since ACen. It's better than nothing I guess and it's close to me. I didn't take very much though I used to for my first two ACens, but then I realized photographing in cons didn't excite me unless it's something really worth taking. There weren't many people who took pics of Kuro last year, but I don't recall any faces even after looking at your pics. I do know I wore it on Sat and the people who stopped me for pics were in the morning. Do you remember taking a pic of me at the big lobby outside of the exhibitor/vendor hall? Reply

I'm just working as usual as an engineer and looking for a permanent job now. I plan on going to Gen Con Indy next month to retain some of that good old fun feeling of going to cons. Reply
