Hey, it's been almost two months since I've even watched a single episode of an anime. :P I only check back here every once in a while to see messages. Just to be clear, I still like watching anime and the such, I just haven't had the time for it with all my other hobbies and school.

Well, send me what you've written so far and maybe I can give you ideas on how to continue with the first chapter. :)
KiraoftheWind Mar 22, 2012 12:42 PM
Heck yeah, whatever you've written send it to my email at erika07@comcast.net. Tell me in the message who you are on MAL though so I don't get confused. :P Also, what kind of 'thoughts' do you want? Constructive criticism on the writing itself, or just questions and the like to help you with plot and characterization? And I never rip into stuff to be mean, so I'm not going to trash whatever you've written. I'm nice, honest. :)

Have you decided anything more about your story since the last time we talked? It sounds interesting and I'd like to read it if you're comfortable with that. I can send you my email if you'd like.

I'm still writing my story, though I just finished a fun part and now I'm back in the (comparatively) boring parts. Oh well. And one idea leads to another. As I was writing the other day, I started thinking of random AU scenarios. XD I'll never be able to write down everything I want to write!

I'm almost caught up with you on P4. :D
kenegda Jan 25, 2012 1:16 PM
Don't forget to bring RvB home this weekend!

I don't know whether I'm 'good' at chemistry or not lol. In some classes I fail epically but I think that was partially because of my dick of a professor. Yet in the other chem classes I've taken, I've done pretty well. I'm doing well in my current class as well.

Ah, I wish I were a better artists. I like drawing, but I'm so terrible. XD Though all I ever draw are the people and places from my story. It's a fantasy world, so I make up my own species and such, then I like to draw them so I have a more definite picture in my head, but half the time my drawing ends up looking horrible.

So what ideas have you been spewing in your head lately?

Just started watching P4. I love how they incorporate so many little bits from the game into the series. I hope they continue to do a good job. I know you've watched most of what's out, how do you think they're doing with it?
KiraoftheWind Jan 7, 2012 2:46 PM
lol, well hope you're having a good time. Have you been doing anything fun lately?

I started back in college, but I'm only taking one chemistry class. Fairly easy. Still have lots of time to play games and write my story. :D

Merry Christmas, friend. Hope you have a nice day. :)

Don't forget to bring RvB home with you next time! You should bring some of your other games and dvds home and maybe we can have a game/dvd night over Christmas vacation...I found my putty the other day! ;)

Yeah, i've been playing Skyrim non-stop since it came out. That's why I haven't been back to this site in a month. XD I finally realized it had been nearly a month and I should reply to my messages here. >_> Anyway, I do like the game, I can't deny that, but there are a few things I dislike. However, those are things I doubt Bethesda will "fix" any time soon as they were implemented to help dumb people, I think. Namely things like the compass pointer always pointing where you have to go (as opposed to them giving you more information on where something is and you paying attention). And so many people being invincible. I liked how in Morrowind you could kill anyone and if you messed up you'd get a message saying "good job, now reload or you'll never win." That, and I feel a lot of quests are too similar. I really liked the way New Vegas handled a lot of its quests. Bethesda should take notes from Obsidian. :P

BUT, I'm not trying to be a negative nancy. I do love a lot of stuff in it. There's a lot more variety in dungeons than Oblivion had, for which I am grateful. The Daedra lords are still as amusing as ever. Even more so, because many of them are a lot more 'personable' in Skyrim. Plus I appreciate how they handled the one place I always wanted to visit in Skyrim - Solitude. Back in Oblivion/Morrowind, I'd read the Wolf Queen in-game book series and since then always wanted to go to Solitude. So I was happy when Skyrim gave me quests related to her. :D

I bet if you tried playing FFT again you'd be better at it. Though if you have trouble with one of the first fights (the one in Dorter) that's normal. Everyone sucks at that battle on their first couple playthroughs. :D

I just haven't been playing many games lately unless you count EU3, a game on Steam. But Skyrim comes out in a few days and I'll be playing that obsessively. :3 So maybe console gaming is coming back to me. Maybe then I can jump back into my RPG backlog. I don't know if I ever explained to you what happened to me a few years back. I was getting money from the government as part of my college financial aid but I didn't have anything to spend it on since I don't have to pay rent or bills or anything. So I went on a huge shopping spree buying tons of old RPGs. So now I have this huge collection of games that I... haven't played. v_v Well, I've played them somewhat. But I haven't made as big of a dent in my backlog as I would have liked to by now.

Well, if you ever get to play Rorona or Totori, tell me what you think. :D

lol, sounds like you've got some mad cooking skillz. :P I think even I can manage ramen noodles and taco salads. But I'm learning. I made a steak the other night and it came out just right. Huzzah!

Oh yeah, you're right about there being horrid books out there. I think that's what gives me the greatest confidence in my own book... if some of that shit can get published, mine can too. XD

I have always loved the Disgaea games ever since I got the first one. But I've always loved SRPGs. I remember my first SRPG was FFT and I bought it thinking it was just a regular FF and I was so confused at first so I didn't like it. XD But I was young and I gave it another chance a few years later and fell in love lol.

Ah yeah, level grinding. I tend to overlevel in most RPGs so I don't have that problem too often. Eternal Sonata had a pretty fun battle system from what I remember. I ended up looking for random battles so I was never underleveled.

There was Rorona and Totori, but also a Meruru. Totori just came out in the US but Meruru hasn't. I don't know if there are any plans to bring it over or not, but I hope so. When I get a PS3 (whenever that will be...) I want to play those three. :D

I don't really 'enjoy' cooking, but I figure it's something I ought to learn if I'm ever going to be living on my own . I live with my grandparents and uncle, and my uncle is the cook of the family. Thing is, he also pisses me off a lot so I wanted to learn to cook so I could make meals for myself and not have to bother with him doing it.

Ah, inspiration. I'm always inspired. XD I love to write and my story is my life. I can pretty much sit down at any time and just write for hours on my novel. But reading other fantasy novels definitely helps with the inspiration. Sometimes it's inspiring because I feel like "this is a cool story and it makes me want to write my own" but sometimes it's because I feel "this is such a cliche story I could write better than this author and they got published." XD Oi, I'm so egotistical at times...
It’s time to ditch the text file.
