Yo, I just want to thank you for recc'ing Mushishi. <3 Holy crap, I think I'm in love with this anime. ^^ So far (6 episodes in), everything has been perfect. The art style isn't jaw-dropping but fits the somewhat laid-back mood of the series. As of now, the series really pulled off the 'magical realism' down-pat.
And woot @ the Ladd Russo quote on your profile! :3 Lol, we had the same thought, I have the Baccano! screenshot on my profile for a while now. ^^ I'm currently rewatching Baccano!, to catch nuances I might have missed when I first saw it.
