Ah, don't sweat it. It's better to be prepared than not at all. I'm thinking we'll probably leave Monday afternoon if not sooner. ^^;
Anywhoo, I've been reading the Anime Vegas forums and apparently, the final guests will be announced in the next few days. Personally, I've got my fingers crossed for some J-Rock bands. :0

Don't forget Monday! Admittedly, most of the festivities will be done by noon on the final day but there'll still be fun to be had. If I'm traveling that far for a con, I might as well squeeze as much fun out of it as humanly possible. :-P
By there, you mean the con or Las Vegas in general? (Sorry, I'm tired and am not probably thinking the straightest). The city itself holds a lot of attractions that'd be fun to see but I'm on a limited budget so that's a no go. Unless you know of free Las Vegas entertainment? X3 If you meant the con, well, it's too early to say. The schedule won't be posted online until a couple weeks before the event. That said, I'd probably want to go to the AMV contest, some of the guest of honor panels & the signing (I'm bringing a buttload of DVDs for them to sign) and a rave if they have one. Oh, and me and the dealers room have a date. For sure.

Saturday morning is the only concrete thing right now. I'll be driving 2 hours north to my folks place to drop off my dog on Thursday, then Alex will have someone give him a ride (hopefully) to my folks on Friday and we'll drive down to my place. Saturday morning, we'll wake up early and make the 2 and a half hour drive to Las Vegas. So.. we might arrive before you. I know I want to try to make the opening ceremonies but I'm not sure if that's feasible at this point.

Awesome sauce!! That curbs my worries about the convention by a substantial amount. Now I only have to think about the trip up. For starters, are you arriving the day before or of the con?

Refresh my memory. What characters did McGlynn voice in the .hack series? It's been a while since I've watched them. I could look it up myself but I'm lazy. ^^;
Yeah, that'd probably be best. I was going to book them myself but due to certain circumstances, I had to change banks recently and I'm still waiting for my debit card to be mailed to me. I was hoping either you or Alex could have the honors of taking care of hotel arrangements. The Alexis Park Hotel would be great purely for the convenience. It wouldn't be that expensive since it would be at discounted convention price and we could even just book one room with two twin beds (someone could take the floor). I don't know. Let me know what you think!

I'm personally excited for Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn (LOVED her as the major in the GITS:SAC series. Plus, she has a great singing voice and is just awesome in general), Laura Bailey ("Tohru Honda" 'nuff said :3), and Maxey Whitehead (She's a newbie to Anime VA work but I like what I've heard). I'm looking forward to meeting all the guests though. On the postcard I got for preregistering, the band Eyeshine (4 man band that Johnny Yong Bosh is the lead singer for) were also listed as guests. And there's probably more that have yet to be announced.
Yeah, it's not as big as some other cons but I've heard good things about it from friends who have gone in past years. I can't imagine going to a con with 10,000+ attendees. That's crazy. X3

Anime Vegas will be my third con but it'll also be my biggest so far. (Anime Banzai had 3,000 attendees and Fannatiku Fest, 300. Vegas will have 4,000-5,000 I'm guessing.) And my first out of state con. X3 I'm way excited for it too. The guest list is absolutely phenomenal IMHO.
