This show is a must watch in my opinion.
The one thing I will say is to not look too deep into what you think show is, I've seen people saying it strays away from its 'parody' tag and saying it as a bad thing. It doesn't really parody anything for any of the main characters.
Anyway onto the review none of you care about.
Story - 7
------------------------------
The story of OPM isn't a particularly deep one, nor is it that different from numerous other stories you've heard before. But it is a well told one, and a well paced one.
Effectively the show from 1 all the way through
...
to 12 is about our hero, Saitama, fighting things and generally being unbeatable. Whilst he goes around saving the day, all the other heroes and civilians believe him to be just a normal average hero, or a fraud. This he clearly isn't to anyone who sees him, but because of his outlook on heroism he doesn't really mind not being recognized as the best. The jokes of the show come mainly from this misunderstanding, or from the gross power difference between Saitama and whatever he's fighting.
Good story, not anything amazingly special though.
Art - 10
------------------------------
Now the art in this show is absolutely outstanding. The fight sequences have some of the most in depth and interesting artistry I've seen in a show. Take a look at the OPM manga, and imagine it fully animated. That's what you get here.
Glorious.
Sound - 8
------------------------------
The sound for this show is brilliant. (In all honesty i don't know how sound could ever really be a 10/10, which is why this is an 8 from me.) The sound design hits all the triggers, and has lovely noises in all the right places. The fights feel heavy and epic, and the comedy feels slapstick and easy. The switches between these moments don't feel jarring, and flow together perfectly.
To top it off the OP for this show is great, and will have fans shouting 'WAN PANCH' at their screens when it hits.
Character - 7
------------------------------
A great selection of personalities is on show here, and they all complement each other wonderfully.
We have our Hero, Saitama - A hero for fun, slapstick and uncaring; all whilst being the most powerful man in perhaps the universe.
Alongside him is Genos - Saitama's disciple, and cyborg enamored by our hero's greatness.
Then we have the collection of heroes, all vying for power and recognition. Each with a distinct ability set and personality set.
Finally there comes the villains, these are effectively the reflection of the heroes. The again struggle to showcase their powers, but they differ in that they all have the mad super-villain motive of - destroy the earth, kill all humans.
Nice bunch of characters. Oh, and they're voice acted well too.
Enjoyment - 10
------------------------------
Whereas I can admit this show probably isn't for everyone, I think most people will love it. Its an easy watch, especially if you go and discuss it with some friends after the fact.
Yeah, if you're anything like me - you should feel the 'hype'.
Overall - 9
------------------------------
This is a well put together show, that faithfully adapts the source material in a way that only ever improves.
A must watch for anyone that likes anything, you may not love it but you should definitely give it a go.

In quick summary this show is another of those high school-team up-boy/girl-fight-magic-almost harem shows. It's an OK one of those, so if you like them give it a watch.
Story - 5
------------------------------
Basically, it boils down to - boy enters a school of magic fighting people, boy fights someone on his first day and doesn't lose. Everyone is slightly impressed, is forced into friendship with person he fought. Then a few more people come into the show, vying for strong boys attention. Meanwhile secret forces are at play, and know about strong boy. WOAH, surprise boy is most powerful, but at what cost... - That's the
...
idea, scream if you've heard it before.
Art - 6
------------------------------
Not much to say really, its as you'd expect from shows these days. Clean lines, nice colours, and plenty of frames.
Sound - 7
------------------------------
Now the sound, I actually quite liked. Both the OP and ED are good songs, and fit the feel of the show well. So good job anime show.
The sound throughout the actual show, is nice too. Plenty of noise going on, good music triggers and nice voice acting.
Yeah, not bad at all.
Character - 5
------------------------------
Well, these characters - oh man. They're the same ones you've seen a thousand times.
Tsundere - Check
Loli - Check
Oppai Loli - Check
Pervert Girl - Check
Man Man - Check
Shy Man - Check
Enjoyment - 6
------------------------------
I liked it, at least enough to watch it week to week. So that's better than a lot of shows.
So if you're like me you'll probably like it like me. (Good sentence.)
Overall - 6
------------------------------
In summary, this show is not bad, not great... but not bad. Watch it if you like these kind of things, and if you don't like them, don't - it's not gonna change your mind.

First off, this show is pretty great, it has excellent characters and a intriguing (if slightly obvious) plot and manages to keep you engaged throughout every moment of every episode.
Story - 8 - Good pacing, even if the overarching plot is pretty obvious.
The story is based around a general idea of finding yourself, and both coming to terms with reality whilst not blindly following the folds of the majority, and instead being your own person. This story I feel is well told and I personally enjoyed it a bunch, I think everyone would enjoy this story at least a little bit.
Sound and Art - 7
...
- Some specifically fantastic moments of both art and sound, but overall just above average but nothing truly unique or unnervingly excellent.
The sound for this anime is pretty good throughout its entirety, there are some places where i though it worked perfectly but most of the time I didn't particularly notice it either way. That is to say its absolutely fine, absolutely nothing wrong with it. The art is again, pretty good, with some fantastic looking scenes (you'll see when you watch it), but most of the time its is just a modern looking well drawn and animated show.
Characters - 8 - A good cast, with unique personalities, though nothing particularly special.
When I say nothing particularly special I mean none of the characters are truly unique, but they are all written and voiced incredibly well, they also mix together believably and exceptionally well. The best of the cast is the main character (of course) but all of the other characters including the deuteragonist are all still great characters.
Overall - 8 - An excellent series well deserving of a watch by pretty much anyone and everyone.
As I have said, there are many draws for this anime and barely any turn-aways, so I think everyone would enjoy it. The characters, plot, sound and art all work perfectly with each other. The only reason I didn't give it a 9 or 10 is because there is nothing truly unique about it. But even in my harsh judgings it is well worth an 8, meaning that I believe this anime is very good. Be sure to watch it.

Upon seeing this recommended alongside OreImo and OreGairu I was fairly excited to give it a watch, sadly though this show is overall lackluster. Not to say that its bad, it just also not good, there are hundreds of versions of this show and every one that I have seen is better than it.
Plot - 6 - Doesn't progress much.
The plot of this show is a basic one, but a decent starting point, that is if it ever had anything added to it. Without spoiling anything a basic summary would be
"A male transfer student who has no friends meets a female who has no friends,
...
so they together start a club to find friends. They make some friends."
Characters - 5 - Are baseline characters with shallow progression.
The characters in the show are again fantastic starting points, but they barely progress. For example the first new club member is a popular, big breasted blonde fan service machine, who wants to make friends. Her personality is laid out almost entirely in her first 5 minutes of screen time. The only advancement she gets is that she like the male transfer student. The rest of the character get even less.
Sound and Art - 5 - Nothing stand out, in a bad nor a good way.
The sound and art of the show are fine, there is nothing good nor bad to say about them. I personally think some of the characters faces look strange but hey it doesn't really matter.
Enjoyment - 6 - It was fine but I am not thrilled enough to dive in to the second series.
I would say I did not enjoy this anime, mostly because I had hoped it would be good, and it was, at best the most generic comedy romance harem I have seen and at worst dull and boring.
Overall - 6 - A great baseline, but that's not good enough this late into the genres.
Overall, I would personally not recommend this anime if you're expecting anything truly entertaining, instead watch OreImo, watch High School DxD, watch anything really. At least those 2 live up to at least one of there stated genres.
